Fable: TLC

Featured Replies

I got Fable: The Lost Chapters to computer but im having trouble. For some reason all the ground is white and the water is yellow. Any help?

You could give some more information. What operating system, graphics card, and other system specs.

Have you tried updating your graphics card driver and installing the latest game patches?

erm.... I am not exactly computer smart. How much would a graphics card be and how do I find out what mine is?

I did not suggest to buy a new graphics card, I'm asking what yours is.

Go to start > run > type "dxdiag" . Go to the display tab and it should be obvious after that.

Doing a quick search and this is your graphics card driver.

Download the exe and install it. Check and see if anything changes.

I also looked up the system requirements for Fable and it says 64mb shader capable graphics card which I don't know if that falls into this. Go here and select the game and check.

Uggh my computer doesnt have internet so I cant. Well thanks anyway.

How are you posting then?

If its another computer and you are able to download it to it then simply transfer it using a flash drive.

Anyway my guess on why your having those troubles it that the settings your playing on are too high for your pc, try dropping any AA or AF and there water/background effects.

That should reduce any lag and hopefully fix the problem.

Im usually on TIF on the Wii's Internet Browser. Also, ive tried reducing settings before, didnt work. Maybe ill try it with a flash drive. If i can find mine lol.

Windows XP

1.4 GHz equivalent or higher processor

256 MB RAM

3 GB available hard-disk space

32x speed or faster CD-ROM drive

64 MB shader capable video card required

Sound card, speakers, or headphones required for audio

Microsoft mouse or compatible pointing device

Not much information to go on there... But I'm pretty sure the onboard graphics won't support the game. Onboard graphics are rarely useful for anything apart from general desktop use.

I'd suggest getting a graphics card. Even a cheap one would do a game like that. For more information on what to get, either go to a local PC shop or ask in here, you should get about 40 people trying to help you.

Notoriously Trollish.

Perhaps youre disk is dirty/damaged, or when the installation took process, not all files were installed?
