I started Runescape about a week ago. A game I've only just begun. I immediately joined the Tip.It community because, of course, it was recommended, and of course, I decided to write an addition for the Blog section of these forums because it'll make me famous all over right? Lol. :

 

 

 

Even a week in Runescape, a game for Pete's sake, or maybe Paul's even, gives some whole new experiences. This might be the first sentence to everyone's journal or blog of their own experiences. I want to fit in so why not make it my first one too? Again I will give you a complimentary, "Lol." Yes that one was free.

 

 

 

Tutorial Island is the same for everyone right? So why not leave that out. As I was shipped off to Lumbridge (Yes I know what the first town is called) I wondered how they get you there from Tutorial Island. Very much like a lot of people, I'm sure. Of course it had to be a ship that brought me there, but why not a dragon? I decided to go with that one and apparently like a, "Nub," I yelled, right when I got there, "Wow Puff the Magic Dragon, thanks for the ride!" Good thing I had turned public chat on hide, huh? I still saw a few people let out a, "*Snicker* What a nub nub." Whatever that is haha. I was level 3 at the time (Still am now haha) so I couldn't say anything back, right? I'm not usually offended by these things so naturally I ran out of the castle walls and started landing a barrage of punches (And kicks) on the first Man I saw. Just let me say he got Pwnt! Hehe.

 

 

 

Getting bored of trying to pickpocket and getting the same message that, "This feature is for the members' servers only," I decided to try fishing. After looking here and there on these forums (Tip.It) I decided I had all the information I needed and took a step to the right (In-game) and clicked the fishing hole in the Lumbridge River. Apparently I didn't need to spend an hour reading up on fishing. To sum up the rest of my short journey I got to level 45 fishing with a lot of, "Hah, nubs," and, "Let's take this to the wildy newb. I'll get my main," in between.

I can understand that. I won't try and argue with you. You can believe what you want to believe. I'll give you an explanation though. I have a lot of friends who play this game and kept recommending it to me. They'd have me over at their computers and I'd watch them play for a while asking questions and what not. I couldn't find time to play on my computer for a year so I got information from them every now and then. When I watched them play. I actually liked watching them, but I thought I might as well try it. So here we are now. I also read up on a lot of stuff. As much as I could find. I like to know everything about a game before I play it lol. At least a lot of things about it anyways.

Yes it's a new day (For me anyways), and that means a new entry. This one's for yesterday.

 

 

 

I woke up early yesterday. Around...Early. -.- Of course I didn't log onto Runescape right when I woke up. I ate a bowl of some Frosted Flakes. If you're wondering I didn't add any milk. I logged onto the game with a bowl of cereal (And a little bit of excitement to add onto that) pumped to get on with the new day. Notice I didn't add an, "It" after, "Get" in that sentence. So no jokes about that ok? I was still at the fishing hole (This one in Barbarian Village, and not in the Lumbridge River. Fly fishing instead of small net fishing.) so I decided, "Wth, might as well fish again." So I whipped out my rod and got busy. Oh wow that sounded...Wow. :wall: I was level 45 fishing at the time so it was easy. As I ran to Edgeville's bank to deposit my new found raw friends I realized my cooking wasn't quite as high as my fishing. Which my (Not quite so wierd as a fish friend) new friend, Jar_Rasta (I asked his permission to use his RS name in my post. So calm down), politely pointed out, and he offered to cook and fish with me. That's how we became friends. He also told me about "Skillers." What they are, what they do, and why they do it. I immediately decided to be one of those since I was still level 3 (I had only been fishing :XD: ),and because, of course, I imagined myself as a rich merchant strolling casually through the streets of Varrock (Yes, I know where that is too. :-$ You shouldn't be amazed) my gold studded cape fluttering slightly in the small breeze. So, pretty much, my eyes popped out and turned into dollar signs lol. As I got back from banking, I saw in my chat box, "Level_3_3_3: Haha you nubs I'll Pwnt! you to the wildy with my iron scimmy." I investigated their levels and saw that Level 3_3_3 was, indeed, level 3, 3, 3. About 40 levels lower than the people fishing, that, apparently, he was calling nubs. I asked him to add me, and of course, "No I'll Pwnt! you with a stick!" I eventually got him to add me with my newbie magical talents, and a bit of polite asking. I asked him why he acts like a HUGE nub on purpose, and he said, "I think it's great fun lol." So, naturally, I decided to act like a nub and found myself enjoying the way other people react to it. No wonder Borat is...Borat lol. I'll sum up the rest of the day in a little short paragraph, because quite frankly, I don't feel like writing my whole day out on a computer lol.

 

 

 

I went through to level 50 fishing. Cooked with Jar_Rasta until 50 cooking. Messed with people in the wildy with Level 3_3_3...That was great. Then I got 10 mining for that quest The Knight's Sword (Yay) with a few, "Omg, this new mining animation is slooooow," from people mining at the same place. This was my second day of my second week.

 

 

 

To all those I met from these forums and added in-game. Sorry, I couldn't enter you into this journal entry. I didn't have a chance to ask. :
