As I got back from banking, I saw in my chat box, "Level_3_3_3: Haha you nubs I'll Pwnt! you to the wildy with my iron scimmy." I investigated their levels and saw that Level 3_3_3 was, indeed, level 3, 3, 3. About 40 levels lower than the people fishing, that, apparently, he was calling nubs. I asked him to add me, and of course, "No I'll Pwnt! you with a stick!" I eventually got him to add me with my newbie magical talents, and a bit of polite asking. I asked him why he acts like a HUGE nub on purpose, and he said, "I think it's great fun lol." So, naturally, I decided to act like a nub and found myself enjoying the way other people react to it. No wonder Borat is...Borat lol. I'll sum up the rest of the day in a little short paragraph, because quite frankly, I don't feel like writing my whole day out on a computer lol.

 

 

 

I went through to level 50 fishing. Cooked with Jar_Rasta until 50 cooking. Messed with people in the wildy with Level 3_3_3...That was great. Then I got 10 mining for that quest The Knight's Sword (Yay) with a few, "Omg, this new mining animation is slooooow," from people mining at the same place. This was my second day of my second week.

 

 

 

To all those I met from these forums and added in-game. Sorry, I couldn't enter you into this journal entry. I didn't have a chance to ask. :

It's the 3rd day of my second week and I'm getting more and more knowledgeable of the Tip.It customs and Runescape what nots. Of course, I'm talking about yesterday, today, right? Here goes. I woke up a bit later in the day yesterday so maybe it effected my gameplay. I doubt it.

 

 

 

As I logged on I was hit with a barrage of, "Hey, what's up," and "It's a new day what are you gonna do?" I wish. Many of my new friends (Ones I had made because of this blog. Thanks for adding me ) weren't on at the time, and the friends I made from my fishing experiences (Good times) didn't bother to even say, "Hi." Most of them were level 3 Skillers, and they were probably busy with...Whatever. I don't blame 'em. : I decided to fish, of course, and soon I got to level 51, "Level 51 fishing! Yay me." Jar_Rasta dropped off a modest congratulations, "Nice I'm level 52." Bragging little... Kidding. :D Anyways, at level 51 I decided I had had enough of fishing (Cooking, too. Level 52) since I had only been doing just that (And some other amusing things with Level 3_3_3). Mining popped up in my head. I wanted to be able to use a rune pickaxe (But not wield it. :cry:) and I decided to get my mining to level 50 at least. (My first goal, yay. =D>) It could help with skills such as Smithing, and Runecrafting. :thumbsup: I picked the latter as my choice and withdrew my iron pickaxe from the bank, immediately heading towards Aubury (Didn't know his name at the time but learned it during Rune Mysteries) and the mysterious rune essence caves. I wielded my mouse (In real life) proudly, took a deep breath, and right clicked Aubury, the rune salesman of Varrock, master of all things magic, and selected the Teleport option. I immediately got a, "You must do the Rune Mysteries quest before selecting this option." What?! I tried again and got the same (Annoying) comment from nowhere. I looked at my quest journal and found the quest in red on the F2P list. Oh, that! :XD: So, naturally, I teleported home to Lumbridge, city (Small town) of newbies, and the meaner people. As I got to the second story of Lumbridge Castle (Dukedom, manor, mansion, whatever.) I noticed two quest symbols and walked towards them noticing one was Duke Horacio, the man who wields the Rune Mysteries quest. After talking to him I was handed a mysterious talisman, an Air Talisman. Since I was told to go to the Wizard's Tower and talk to the head wizard I (After asking around my friends list) went and talked to Sedridor (Telling him I had to give a message to the head wizard) who told me to walk the long distance to Varrock, and speak to a man named Aubury. -.- I gave Aubury the package given to me by the head wizard himself and was told to walk back to Wizard's Tower. (What?! I ought to slap you in the face... -.-)

 

 

 

To sum it all up I finished Rune Mysteries. Frustrated, annoyed, and tired from all that clicking. :XD: My mining is level 21 now, and I only have 30 more levels to go. Unfortunately I cannot put in a goal planner from Draynor.Net (Check it out), because my mining isn't in the Runescape Hiscores.These were introduced to me by Lunar_Drifter's blog. Thanks! I hope it's okay that I put you in here Lunar.

Haha welcome to the Runescape and Tip.It community! I've been playing this game on and off (biggest chunk was not playing *almost* at all in 2003-2004) since it began in 2001. I know that's a big claim...but I remember people pking in Lumbridge...when Falador was a new city...*sigh* I remember when I could get 20 level in like 20 minutes...

 

 

 

Anyways the point of all this is - enjoy the early days, when you don't have to worry about so many things. I remember fondly my first few weeks in game...and the first time I got scammed...just be careful. Lots of unfriendly people out there.

 

 

 

Anyway, feel free to msg me in game if you need any help! I've been playing a lot lately, so I will probably be on!

It seems like there finally is someone over 10 years old in the free-to-play. That is cool, but hope you fit there with the all other lowlifes thinking they're something with their cool adamantide maces and iron kites. ..Age of 10 of course. ;) Anyways It's quite interesting to see how someone just started, feels about this game and it's community. Hardly ever you see someone just started logging to TIF, and starting a blog. So it's cool, HYT! :)

 

 

 

Btw, you sound like a nice guy with alot to offer to the quite afflicted RS community, so would you mind to add me too (you must I already added you..) :lol:

 

(I read 2 first pages, so it seems like you're getting alot of attention and new friends here, it's cool).

Perhaps you should add some pictures of your day-to-day adventures, happy events and level-ups you're proud off. Also statspicture would be quite cool, and maybe some goal information if there is some goals you wish to achieve. Like some certain levels or do some quests or get some shiny items. :)

Hey thanks for the tips. :D I don't exactly have any goals right now. My first one was that I get my Mining level to 50. At first I was leveling Fishing and Cooking because they're great skills, and I didn't exactly plan them out. I'll check out the Forum User Guide again and see how to put in Runescape images. I don't really have a clue as to how right now lol. :XD:
