Featured Replies

Well when I download a video it plays it automatically in media player but after I close the window I don't know where they go.

Any ideas? Some are really good (for examlpe Jc4me's) and I really like em.

Nope there isn't "a my recent documents".

It would be in the temp folder. Anything that is saved there is to play it once and then like in a week everything is deleted from there. Hence the name temp or temporary.

If you want to save the video to a permanent location you would have to click "save target as" and then select a location.

What OS are you using?

If they're downloaded videos, you can usually right click the link and save it onto your computer. Otherwise, as the others have said, they go into the temp folder.

If you're streaming videos, they don't save.

Windows home, but microsoft word excel powerpoint etc are office. :anxious:

yeah, they're in the temp folder, which is almost impossible to find (its hidden). unless you save the file to disk, you're never gonna find it.

Do you use a program to download your videos or do you stream them? If you use a program, you should be able to check and change what flder your videos save to. Do you also get that dialouge box poppping up that shows the progress? Those usually show the folder the file is being saved in.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

Congrats, "Home" isn't an operating system. :-s

I'm going to assume that you meant Windows XP Home Edition, which means you should have a "My Recent Documents" section in your start bar.

When you download something, you have to choices, like this:

Check the box that says "Save to Disk" then it should download to where ever everything else on your computer downloads to.
