July 24, 200718 yr Well when I download a video it plays it automatically in media player but after I close the window I don't know where they go. Any ideas? Some are really good (for examlpe Jc4me's) and I really like em.
July 24, 200718 yr It would be in the temp folder. Anything that is saved there is to play it once and then like in a week everything is deleted from there. Hence the name temp or temporary. If you want to save the video to a permanent location you would have to click "save target as" and then select a location.
July 24, 200718 yr Start>My recent documents. Nope there isn't "a my recent documents". What OS are you using?
July 25, 200718 yr If they're downloaded videos, you can usually right click the link and save it onto your computer. Otherwise, as the others have said, they go into the temp folder. If you're streaming videos, they don't save. ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.

July 27, 200718 yr yeah, they're in the temp folder, which is almost impossible to find (its hidden). unless you save the file to disk, you're never gonna find it.
July 27, 200718 yr Do you use a program to download your videos or do you stream them? If you use a program, you should be able to check and change what flder your videos save to. Do you also get that dialouge box poppping up that shows the progress? Those usually show the folder the file is being saved in. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience.

Windows home, but microsoft word excel powerpoint etc are office. :anxious: Congrats, "Home" isn't an operating system. :-s I'm going to assume that you meant Windows XP Home Edition, which means you should have a "My Recent Documents" section in your start bar.
July 29, 200718 yr Well when I download a video it plays it automatically in media player but after I close the window I don't know where they go. When you download something, you have to choices, like this: Check the box that says "Save to Disk" then it should download to where ever everything else on your computer downloads to.
July 29, 200718 yr What I've done to get to temp files is just download a zip file and press "up" to go to the parent folder which is temp files, if you ran the zip and not saved it. :-k Guide to Making a Foolproof RuneScape Password
