W00t. Today I finally got 90 slayer :)

 

 

 

I got 85 slayer last summer, and stopped training it for a while. I trained it a bit though, and when dark bows were first announced I was 88, I managed to get 89 before the update, however I was 250k exp from 90, which I would have gotten had they come out 1 week later like I thought they would :(

 

 

 

SO, I went and killed some dark beasts using wild pies. After a week of killing with no dark bow drops I got depressed and gave up, and really didn't feel like getting 90.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But 2 days ago I finally stopped putting it off and got it.

 

 

 

I got 220k exp in the first 2 days of slaying, and got the last bit today

Yeah, I remember we were both 88 Slayer when BTS came out. I rushed as fast as I could but was worried I wasn't fast enough. I always thought to myself "I wonder how sxq is doing?" Then when the update came out, I quit Runescape to play Dark Beast Scape. I had gotten some Dark Bow drops, posted them on TIF, then you posted that you hated me. Well, I hate the people that got the first bows and the price manipulating noobs. Took me about 3 hours to get my first one and stupid price manipulators made me think 6.1m was a good price for it :x. Congrats on finally getting 90 =D>. Looks like bows have stabilized at about 3.5m.

I think I won our race :P
