gun_hippy
They didn't announce sigs, just a more efficient way for current sigs to extract the data from their servers.
anish00b
but where are they? are we using it atm for our stat sigs? signature your as this use backwards this read to enough smart were you if^^^^read backwards^^^^ http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=113&t=757562&p=6009903^^^^The Best Melee Training Spot In The Game^^^^ http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=786213^^^^The new Bandits^^^^ even i have the misfile craze!!! gun_hippy
If the site set it up to do so All it is, is instead of loading your stats from the highscores, along with a ton of other info that doesn't even make it into your sig, jagex made a streamlined version where it only retrieves the numbers from the highscores,a much smaller filesize and faster loading. The only people it matters to are the people who scripted these signatures basically. Not the users or anything. Ask whoever made your sig if they're using it, but in the end it makes no difference to you. Only jagex' bandwidth. For example, your old sig would download this: http://hiscore.runescape.com/hiscoreper ... 1=anish00b Whereas the new one downloads only this: http://hiscore.runescape.com/index_lite ... r=Anish00b that's all it is, a smaller filesize

I'm fairly certain that you can read that with javascript. And if not, who cares? Run a server with PHP and hit up the site for that when you update the images :o :D Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
Jard_Y_Dooku
The new page only uses 3% of the file size it previously did, so this will be great for Jagex's bandwidth; dynamic signatures won't be very noticeable now. :) Never trust anyone. From what I know, RuneWeb uses that stat query now. Most of the other fansites with stat signatures may use them, but I can only confirm RuneWeb as of right now.
