Jaziek
Eugh, as the ship heads back into the bay of biscay the sea gets ultra choppy and everyone in my family gets seasick... Im glad its only like this for a couple of days, its nauseating.
trapical
Sounds like the weather was bad. Normally on crusies you can barely tell the ship if moving. Might I suggest a larger ship next time? The Sea Princess class is only 72 thousands tons if I recall correctly, go for the Grand Princess class (110k tons) or try Royal Carribean's Voyager class ships (139 thousand tons). The bigger ships rock much, much less. The Princess Sea/Sun/Ocean/Dawn ships though have probably the best Pizzeria afloat. Top floor of the atrium, tucked away in the corner am I right? Aw man, me and my brothers would just chill there for hours enjoying the smell (and the pizzas!) while reading books or playing cards. Good times. And you were in Barcelona? Aw, man I'm jelous. I spent two summers there studying abroad. I love that city so much, and I know it like the back of my hand. You could seriously drop me off at the edge of the city with nothing but the clothes on my back and I would be able to make it. I know all the metro locations, how to get on with out a ticket, and I have half a dozen friends that live in the city that I could stay with for a while :) Anyway, sounds like you had a decent time, glad you enjoyed it. If your family ever goes on another cruise with Princess, it's pretty cool. 2nd time cruisers are members of "Captain's Circle" which gets you a gold colored keycard instead of the one all the "newbies" are given. You also get a few perks, which increase the more times you cruise. For example after 3 cruises you get free unlimited Internet on any cruises after that :
fakeitormakeit
Have a nice time, the Mediterrian is nice. But even if I become an important governing politicain and had alots of money to burn I would never never never ever take a cruise, I have a really good stomach for sailing but I'm just afraid the boat's going to sink lol. My brother went on a trip to Europe and they took a cruise somewere around denmark and their boat was getting bombarded with 20ft waves at night. And another time a family friend we know who is a singer went on vacation and she was in this boat that was on the news because it was damaged due to waves smashing into it, she came back without a bruise though. Completley different to any other pizza i've ever had. Have you ever seen a cruise? It sounds like in your mind you're imagining a tiny little boat going through a ravenous ocean and barely making it. Cruises are immense and usually are close enough to land that if there was an emergency people wouldn't have an issue. Don't let your fears control you and make you miss great memories. Yep I have and I've also gone on dinner cruises which are only like 4hours and in a bay but still, and I've heard stories of my family sailing on soem of the most luxurious and expensive cruises but that still doesn't change the fact that even the Titaniac sunk. Edit: And I hope you enjoyed yourself
hiimben
I remember going on a 10 day cruise to the south pacific. Despite the first few days of sea sicknesses, it was great. The waiters at dinner were great and the food was delicious. The room was pretty good, barring the fact I had to sleep in the same room with my parent's and brother (you get over it). They had performances every night which were of high quality and a few films through out the day. You never had to worry about getting bored, and going on the internet was out of the question (too much stuff to do.) Also, the teenager's club on the ship I went to is the kind of one you want to avoid even with a 10 ft pole. Hope you enjoyed your's and I'm looking forward to some pictures :)

Allu
Cool, while I was on my two week vacation with my family at Rhodes our hotel was really near the port where came many many big cruises one really cool was "carnival freedom" if you want to see how cool it was jsut write carnival freedom at google and take pics, but gosh they were cool and big. Whent they came/left from the port they went really near from the beach like 80-100m so they were HUGE, might someday go to a one, but not yet though.
