August 8, 200718 yr Yes better state that now, I hadn't even thought of drawing a dolphin until I saw Mummi's thread but then I couldn't get the idea out my head so I drew one, this has a background as well. The background is sort of rushed, took about the same time as the dolphin, but doesn't look as good in my opinion EDIT: Changed shading slightly, I think it looks a bit more realistic now Old Version- Sig by me....
August 8, 200718 yr did you just go over real life pic of a dolphin? it looks like it.. anyways, the dithering is so hardcore on it, a dolphin ahs smooth skin.. almost like rubber so it should be a bit shiny and not so dithered and rough :) other then that great job :thumbsup: Rip. August 11, 200718 yr Not bad. Could do with a less of a harsh change from the white on it's back to the black/grey on it's main body. Seems a bit overdithered, as Bam said, and could use less of the rough texturing dithering creates. Hrmm... what else... Large empty space on either side is bugging me, but thank you for not copypasting your clouds. The water looks very odd, especially when you have that very unsaturated blue for the ocean and the bluer-blue (yes, this definitely makes sense :P) of the splash where the dolphin emerges from the water. I also am a little bit concerned about the horizon - but then, I always nitpick horizons for not being flat; wobbly ones just really get on my nerves, sorry. >< Although if you make it flat, the background could be a tad boring.
