Whats the point on having Devil May Cry 4 on the 360 You guys dont have 1,2 and 3 on the x box so why have 4 on the 360?

Ok then, abes odyssey and abes exodus on the PS1 and munch's odyssey on the Xbox. Those followed on from each other and jumped platform. That and I didn't notice much of a story following between the DMC series, certainly not enough to prevent enjoyment if you hadn't played a previous one.

 

 

 

That and your hate for Xbox does seem fanboyish to me, instead of love for one its seething hate for another, same thing really. Why the Xbox hatred?

Halo is just a 1st person shooter if i wanted a first person shooter with good storyline ide go play half life 2.

 

 

 

Gears of war sucks resistance is far better.Just that simple.

 

 

 

Plus the fact if you put the 360 on its side the disc will get ruined.UNLIKE THE PS3.

ok so it has its flaws, PS2 has disc read errors, a tendency to break every 6 months or so (god knows I went through 5, as did a friend, long live guarantees) and refusal to read blue discs.

 

 

 

That and don't go on sales to gauge greatness, it just doesn't work like that. Also, comparing a console game and a PC game is kinda redundant, PC games will always be superior IMO.

 

 

 

All of those are reasons to ignore, or disregard the Xbox, but not actively rant about it :? .

Boy you people sure do LOVE to live in the past. So what if the ps2 was more popular then the xbox? Does that necessarily make it better? No, it doesn't at all. The 360 is more popular then the ps3 these days, but does that make it better then the ps3? Not at all. All that is, is just an opinion. Destroyed isn't the word to use either. The ps2 merely had more sales. It's called business. I never saw any products from Microsoft or Nintendo that got 'Destroyed' because of Sony.

 

 

 

To bluntly say a game sucks is just moronic. Gears of War is one of the better games out there. It's fun as heck, and the gore makes it amazing. Never played resistance, but I find it hard to believe your opinion matters at all.

and to clarify things im geting a wii so i cant be a sony fanboy i just prefer sony to microsoft but nintendo wii is the most revolutionary console out so it gets my pick for best console of this gen.

The developers realize that the PS3 isn't going to be able to sell as many copies as the PS2 did, so they went to Microsoft instead knowing that the Xbox360 will be able to sell more copies and thus make them more money in the long run due to its popularity.

The Wii can't handle it. I'm sorry but you aren't really going to find many (if at all) cross platform games between 360/Wii or PS3/Wii because of how large a gap there is in the technology. The Wii is a lot less powerful than the other 2.

Because..they want to be able to reach all DMC fans and anybody who wants to play it. A lot of people aren't going to spend an arm and a leg for a Ps3..and they realize that. So they put DMC 4 on the more popular (and better, imo) console.

Keep in mind, The Ps2 was also living in the shadow of the Ps1. Also keep in mind that a DVD player in a console was a great concept at the time. Also keep in mind that it was the first console out..and lastly, keep in mind that the Xbox was Microsoft's first Console.

Halo was one of the first (and best) FPSs of Last Gen. It came out long before Half Life 2 did. Xbox was lacking a great FPS at the time, and Halo was born. Neither is better, it is a matter of opinion. Either way, you can't deny that Halo deserves the respect it has..after all, it is one of the most popular games out there right now.

That's Sony Fanboyism if I've ever heard it right there. Gears of War is a great game..but then again, it's all a matter of opinion. But, like Halo, it deserves respect. And I sure hope Resistance is as good as you say..because from what I see, it's one of the only games holding the Ps3 up right now :lol:

Prove it. As for the Ps3's errors, a local gamestop (Ok, not local..the store is actually 60 miles away) told me that they had run through 3 Ps3's after Launch day..they all crashed after people had been playing the displays. Then Sony actually gave them a decent Ps3. And that's fact. And a Local Walmart's (5 miles this time ^_^) Ps3 isn't working. It stopped running, they haven't replaced it yet. Not to mention all of the bugs.

Look at the above post. Not to mention, Microsoft has a 3 year warranty now..they'll repair your Xbox for FREE. My friend (The only one out of many with a 360), had to repair his once. It had the rings. Microsoft offered to repair it. He said no. They took back the console, and repaid him $400. Later last year, he bought another. He has had no problems since then.

 

 

 

So, Sycosis..get your facts straight before you start blurting out random crap. The above should be proof enough that the Ps3 isn't as perfect as you would have hoped.[/hide]
