My friend (ark angel268) and I (lewagold2) are going to mine 3k normal gems (not shilo village gems) and turn them into bracelets then alch em for between 2-4 mil. So, do you belive this is a good idea?

this will take an INSANE amount of time and not worth the money.

it will probaly take a week.. i can get 500 non shilo gems a day at shilo

A week is fine by me! And we'll have 2 people working at once!

lets not forget the prices of gold bars/ores - bars are about 250ea and ores 500ea

 

 

 

also dont forget the time it takes to cut them and smelt them into bracelets...let alone mining them

 

 

 

imo its not a very good way of making money sorry =/

insane crafting exp, horrible money. Also, while mining gems at shilo, bring a chisel and cut the shilo gems. Gold bars are 150 or so. Many rings are more useful than the bracelets. Rings of Forging will sell for well above the alching price.

Not a good way to make lots of money. Mining ess, picking flax would be far more productive in terms of cash, BUT its ok crafting experience.

Go for it, you can always stop if you don't enjoy it.
