August 19, 200718 yr The title pretty much says it all. I'm on a low budget (about 400k) and I am F2P. I want to go from my current 45 strength to 70 (then I'm getting P2P). Stats (combat 46): 45 Strength 40 Attack 31 Prayer (also like monster to drop bones, need pray exp for 52 or 60) 10 Defence (gonna be a rune pure eventually) 51 HP 57 range and 48 mage (not that I think it matters, just wanted to include) [current] Equipment: Black full helm Amulet of Strength Cape Black chainbody Green D'hide vambs Black kite shield Green D'hide chaps Stronghold boots So does anyone have ideas as to the monsters I should train on, food I should use on them, and about how much it would cost? Complete answers only, please. If you like, you can use this: Monster Name -> Monster Lvl -> Monster Xp Per Food type -> Food quantity -> Food Total Price Equipment changes: [...] *optional* Estimated Walking Time to a bank: Thanks and have a great day, Duty If you believe you came from monkeys, you probably did.
August 20, 200718 yr hmm best thing i can think of for your combat is....the level 13 zombies in edge dungeon....that's where i always trained.
August 20, 200718 yr Second floor of the stronghold of security, minotaurs, great exp and they drop iron arrows alot. So... You can aso train range there, there's a gate thing there to range over.
August 20, 200718 yr Flesh Crawlers. Their max hit is 1 which rarely lands on you, and they have low defence. You also get alot of random events there.
August 21, 200718 yr Second floor of the stronghold of security, minotaurs, great exp and they drop iron arrows alot. So... You can aso train range there, there's a gate thing there to range over. minotaurs are in the first level not the second give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
August 21, 200718 yr If you're going to be a rune pure eventually, why not now? Train your defence to 30 then do dragon slayer, and then finally train your defence to 40. (This is so dragonslayer doesn't push your defence past 40) With 40 defence and rune armor, there are a lot more places that you can train without much food. I suggest gurads on top of the varrock castle or on the second floor (first floor for brits.) "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update. Instead, we are doing this for the good of the game, which is as dear to our hearts as it is to you."- JAGEX, December 13, 2007
August 22, 200718 yr I think flesh crawlers and zombies on level 2 of the SoS would be fine for you. I'm not quite sure what level they are, they range from 20's to 50'sish, but they're all in different sections. If you go from the first entrance portal in the Level 2 of SoS, facing north, go right through a couple doors and there should be an ideal training spot. THe zombies drop bones, but if you want better xp, go to hill giants on an empty world, or while there are less players for maximum xp gainage. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
August 22, 200718 yr I agree with atronic92, but I'd actually suggest doing Dragon Slayer at 40 defence - the experience will push you up a few levels, then you can get 45 for berserker helms, since you're getting P2P eventually. :P Right now, at your low defence, minotaurs and flesh crawlers are great experience. A load of trout/salmon will last you a very long time... ...and why not train fishing and cooking and fish your own fish right outside? All you have to bring is an axe, tinderbox, fly fishing rod, and feathers. Until you run out of feathers, you can stay there forever! :) The only costs would be buying feathers, but you could always get those on your own, just kill some chickens. A few thousand feathers would get you a few fishing levels, and those few thousand fish would last you many, many strength levels. Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D
August 22, 200718 yr Buy kebabs 1gp per. Flesh crawlers are the way to go in my opinion, you can expect 30k+ exp/hour. Bank run takes 5 minute.
