The reasons for rs2 to be free: -new quests -new skills -new areas -new monsters -new skills The reasons for rs3 to be p2p: -same as above -jagex makes more money :XD: -all p2pers will have added bonuses and more fun -rs2 could be a larger "demo" of rs3 if you are reading this, and support it, but dont reply, please reply if we get 100 + supports, probable rally info will be shown. By the way, my runescape name is readanddie, but my probable rally name will not be that. SUPPORT PLEASE! You know you're into runescape when you start worshipping stones with chalk on them. PastyGangsta Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 Jagex barely breaks even with the F2P version as it is now. If they made it all free they would go bankrupt and no more RS... ever. There is no sign of RS3 coming any time within the next 5 years, Jagex will probably just keep updating RS2. And if RS3 does come out it will become like RSC, only available if you are paying and if you have an existing account. It'd be nice if it was free, but its not possible.
