I'm gonna turn in my PS3 (along with my games, controllers, etc.) to get an Xbox 360 Elite but before i do that i need your help. Wich is better based on these categories? (PS3 and Xbox 360 Elite) 1. Graphics. 2. Game Library. 3. Overall (Awesomeness). Games i had on my PS3: Elder Scrolls: Oblivion The Godfather: The Don's Edition Spiderman 3: Collector's Edition F.E.A.R. Call of Duty 3 NHL 2K7 (Turned in) NBA 2K7 (Turned in) Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (Turned in) Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix (Turned in) Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Turned in) Resistance: Fall of Man Tony Hawk's Project 8 Marvel Ultimate Alliance I love FPS's (First person shooters), Action/Adventure games, and sometimes enjoy movie-based games. I thought about getting an Xbox 360 Elite when everyone said it was better and what not. I NEED YOUR OPINION BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE MINE. Thanks for the help. Ive seen the two, and it does have better graphics, but that should matter little. 2. Game Library. the 360 hands down! There are so many good games out now, and potentials for later! 3. Overall (Awesomeness). I would say the 360 wins for one reason really, the online play. Live is a lot more popular then mot people think and you will definitely have no problem hooking up and playing with many other people. There is basically the same thing between the two systems except blue ray, which isnt even that usable at this instance. Seems like a HUGE waste of money to turn in a PS3 with all those games, especially if you aren't getting the full amount that the PS3 cost. Also you will most likely have to get the sell back price for a PS3 which probably won't even cover the cost of the 360. That's less than half the value of those things...I mean, $600+(8*50)+(2*50)+plugins > $450, (thats $1100 at minimum btw). You sure you want to do that? I'd advise you just buy the 360 separately, maybe next year or something. I mean, the 360 is better in my opinion, but not enough to warrant losing $500 bucks. I havnt played on a PS3, and I dont really know how good the graphics are so I cant really compare them, but the graphics on the xbox 360 are really, really good. 2. The xbox 360 wins on this one by a long shot. There are loads and loads of cool games out there on the xbox 360, and there are also a load that are really good that are only on the xbox 360 (halo, project gothem racing, etc) 3. My overall is that the xbox 360 is the better console out of the two. I think it is a much better value for money, and the PS3 hasnt got many good games that are only on the PS3. Also, if you keep your PS3, then you wouldnt be able to get halo 3, and I dont really think I need to tell you how outstanding the halo series are. If you like first person shooting games, then you would love this. I dont think its out yet, but you can buy the first two halo's to get you started, then get halo 3 when it comes out (if it hasnt already). tomdavies90 Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 Graphics, ps3 is slightly better, but the fact that all games which are on both consoles are direct ports, the graphics don't change. Game library, 360's is much better really, considering it has better 3rd party support, and it has a years worth of games already on it, much much better. Overall, 360 has better internet, although you have to pay, the hardrive on the Elite is bigger than a 60gb ps3's so yeah, 360 sort of wins. Sig by me.... As much as I think the 360 is better than the PS3 currently, you're ripping yourself off hugely. Don't do it. GameStop will sell all those games and the PS3 at full retail price and that's [cabbage].
