getting rid of norten

Featured Replies

well, i am trying to play warrock.. and apparently, its not accessing the server correctly due to so many security on my comp.. anyway, i have avg free antivirus.. i think its good enough.. so i tried to get rid of norten.. through control panel.. where it says i can uninstall the program. Unfortunately, it freezes at a point everytime i run it.. so i decided to do it manually.. i deleted the content on program files.. and realize that there are branches in the possibliy windows folder.. and maybe some other folder that i don't know.. What should i do now??

I've tried to use the control panel feature to uninstall it after i already delete files in norten, it didn't work.

ps, the norten antivirus was installed when i installed vista cause it came with the laptop (thinkpad).. and its free for 3 month..

Reinstall norton, then uninstall.. deleting the folder isn't a good idea :/

The first thing I did when I bought a new laptop was uninstall norton, horrible program in my opinion.
