n0vaeagle0
Hey. N0va here and i've been wanting a 99 skill!! I've been really inticed by the firemaking cape and the cheapest ways to do it (with only 1.3m) and I thought, 'Sweet.' I really don't care about originality but I want something fast. How much would it cost to do the karamja lobby cook'n'sell back?? I would like to keep a couple Million on my hands so with 2m what could be the fastest f2p/p2p skill to work achieve?? I'm pretty sure I won't do wcing, farming, herblore, slayer, or any combat skills. NOTE: I am 1 defence so I really don't want a 99 ocmbat skill. I'd prefer a non-combat skill. dillingham1
There are not really any cheap ways to get a 99 skill. Unless it takes a long time. But you asked that it not take that long. So that would probably be runecrafting. You can higher runners for air runes until law runes if you are a member. When you can do 5x airs you are making a little bit of profit but you definetly arent losing any if you can sell the airs for 20gp each. Magic is one of easiest skills to get to 99 because if you have a lot of money you can buy a ton of law runes and just teleport your way there =] Something that would take time is woodcutting or firemaking. It could be very cheap if you cut your own logs and burn them but then you can have two 99 skills. stan18
fletching, cooking, and firemaking seem to be the easiest. Fm you can get 100k/hour with willows, 150k with maples. Cooking i've never timed but i suppose it would be fast, since you cook prettymuch at the rate you light logs Thieving, at 71, also gets 100k/hour at pyramid plunder, and at 91 i think you get about 200k/hour at knights. I've only had experience with fm and thieving with pyramid plunder, as well as cooking (but i dont time cooking). But judging by the number of 99's, those are the easiest 99's
Dexek
This is the order I believe speed is. 1) Cooking 2) Fletching 3) Firemaking 4) Thieving These are based on these 4 stats alone, not any expensive buyable stats, which may be faster if you spend more money. Also, Hunter is another cheap and fast skill, which in return can give you a large sum of cash in higher levels. I believe you can get 99 Hunter with about 10k. n0vaeagle0
Thanks for the advice guys!! I'm planning on Firemaking, Hunter and Ranged. So in about 3 months I'll hopefully have those capes =) I might get cooking after all the extra hunter cash but I'm not sure if I'll do it. I probably will, but I would like to get a santa ftw. Dreams come true, O:) N0va
viral_wulf
There are not really any cheap ways to get a 99 skill. Fletching. You will waste some money buying willows to get your fletching to the point where you can make yew longs, but once you get there, the end product sells for more than the components. Buy logs, buy bs, sell bows = profit and 99 fletching.

I believe you can get 99 Hunter with about 10k. yup thats pretty much it nope, fletching is super slow now that the auto string x bow option is in place. You used to be able to get 200kxp an hour+ with yew longs stringing them, but now its around 80k an hour. so fletching is actually a slower skill to get 99 now. cooking is always gonna be the easiest, and firemaking is the cheapest by far, even buying the logs from players costs about 4.5m only, and can be as cheap as 1.3m. fletching will cost you around 20m from 70, and thats if you buy logs and bs, and cooking also, but both you usually get all the money back, and lose a small portion. magic is expensive, and getting 99 with put you out about 10m if you alch, and possibly up to 30m if you use other methods. Other skills take much longer, but like wcing and fishing.. you make money getting 99, and although it takes a long time, you make alot of serious cash. if you cut yews from 60 to 90, then mages to 99, you can easily make 40m+, and fishing sharks from 76 all the way to 99 can easily earn you 80m+ so decided what you want on what skill you enjoy, not what is fastest or cheapest. i chose fletch as i had pre cut all my logs for 70 in f2p, and got 70 on the second week i had members. it was my favorite skill, and the reason i got it to 99 99 Fletching 99 Attack 99 Constitution 99 Cooking 99 StrengthGamertag: H8tebringer
