1 - INTRODUCTION

This mini-game is based on construction and combat. There are 3 teams. Those teams have to kill each other. The last team that stands alive wins the game. There are 10 minutes before starting the fight for the players build strongholds. After the game starts, if past 50 minutes and the game didn't end yet, a draw will happen. This is a SAFE minigame. If you die, you will not lose your items.

1.1 - Location

To join this mini-game, you should go to Karamja Musa Point (the place where we started the Christmas Event this year) and talk to War General. He will send you to one of the 3 boats, that represent RuneScape kingdoms. The War General is also the owner of the SW Construction Shop, the SW Armour Shop and he unlocks Player Locators (see -rewards-).

1.2 - Requirements

To join the War, you must have a combat level of at the least 65 and a construction lvl of 30.

1.3 - What to do

There are 3 teams that represent kingdoms: Asgarnia (blue/white), Kandarin (red/white) and Mithalin (purple/green). During the War, players representing the kingdom will have a coloured shadow, which colour is the one that belongs to the kingdom, skirted with the secondary colour (those are the colours of the Family Crest). When the last game ends, the next one starts then there are 20 people at each ship. The goal of this game is to kill all the people on other team before all your team is ruined (or survive after 20 minutes with more players than other teams). After the game starts, nobody can attack anyone until 10 minutes; this time must be used to construct strongholds and to create attack plans, or move around the camp.

1.4 - Skills

The skills involved in the minigame are, in order of importance: Construction, Combat, Agility, Woodcutting, Smithing, Mining, Magic and Herblore.

1.5 - Experience

During the game, you get the normal xp for combat, iron and choping oaks and 50 mining xp for each wall mined to make the stronghold larger. You also get xp for building items, but they are different for each item built, so the exp for them is shown in the -basement- posts.

1.6 - About clans

You can also inscribe your clan into a war between clans, at a reserved time, but it would be just the same game and rewards, but the winner clans would get in a "hall of fame", with the 10 clans that most won games in RuneScape.

1.7 - Rules

The most important rule of the game is: people can only take armour and weapon to the War Camp; all other items needed are inside the toolbox, or you get them during the game.

1.8 - Dying

When you die, you will have the option to be a ghost or to leave the area. If you decide to be a ghost, you will be invisible to other players, but won't be able to touch anything. The ghost is an option selected just to watch the fights.

2 - LAYOUT

2.1 - Places

Here go a list of important stuff and places:

AGILITY SHORTCUT - a shortcut. The required agility level to cross the shortcuts vary between lvl 6 and 89.

BUSH - hide in it to surprise attacks;

COMBAT FIELD - place for people who only wanna fight. In it there are three towers for mages and rangers to stay, one for each team, and, inside those, there is a ballista, which can do a massive hit of 20-30 hits, but is very slow.

POTATOES - field with 9 potatoes to pick (1 hp heal);

GOLDEN FOUNTAIN - drink it to restore all hp, after drink person is teleported to Combat Field, but when you drink from it, all your combat skills are decreased by 15%, construction, mining, smithing and woodcutting lvls are decreased 10%, and you are poisoned (starting from 2).

2.2 - Toolbox

The toolbox is a box where you will find all items you need, it contains: 100 bandages (heal 5 hp ea); an antipoison potion (4); a hammer; a saw; a bronxe axe; a bronze pickaxe; a spade; 1,000 blood runes; 1,000 death runes; 1,000 chaos runes; 5,500 air runes; 4,000 water runes; 4,000 earth runes; 4,500 fire runes; 100 nature runes; 500 of each kind of arrows and bolts up to dragon; 500 bolt racks; a lockpick; 10 vials; an Enemy Locator (must unlock, see -rewards-).

People may also construct their team's own stronghold, where they can hide, plan and, the most important, make underground shortcuts to acess other places in the camp.

3.1 - How to get one?

First, somebody must dig in a place about 10 consecutive times, so a hole will appear. When entered, it will be too small that nobody will be able to move themselves, so everyone should help mining the earth with a pickaxe, to make the stronghold larger. It's an interesting idea, but I'm going to have to strongly oppose the idea of the Stronghold Wars Cape. For something coming from a mini-game, this cape is overpowered, and the only reason I don't just say no to it outright is the 10 minute wait time needed before you can actually start the main part of the mini-game.

To top that off, there's the 20k exp lamp. I highly doubt JaGEx would ever allow training that could be that convenient. I realize that you put restrictions on the usage of it for a reason, but the fact that you could continuously buy one over and over again makes it too easy to train otherwise tedious/expensive skills.

This mini-game also negates what I assume is a JaGEx money drain: Construction. This game costs nothing, and you could use it to get some of the most expensive construction items while training that and other skills.

Oh, and it's hard to smelt without a furnace anywhere...I'd recommend putting one in (Unless that's what the runes are for, but I doubt that many people would use them as such.)

well thought out but if anything an upgrade to castle wars. The stuff is way overpowered, but otherwise pretty good.

I agree. It does sound like a castlewars expansion. And the rewards are indeed 'way overpowered'. Perhaps you should lower the amount of tokens you can win per game, or make a maximum amount of tokens that you can earn. For example, in Trouble Brewing, the max amount of Pieces of Eight you can earn is 100, not counting the 2 Pieces per bottle of rum. Other than that, very well thought out.
