Well, yea, rate it on a scale of 1-10 please, as well as giving CC. Infact, I wouldn't mind if you didn't rate it at all and just helped me with some CC, lol.

i like the character, no wait i love it!

tho his eyes.. there blank they dont give you a spark, they dont transfer his emotion to your thougts.

given his pose he's fiesty ready to fight burning up with flames inside him, yet his eyes remain blank? even if you tried something mysterious its just not right!

o yeah his right hand looks like a fish.

You know what would be awesome? A hand tutorial! *digs out some anatomy books* These will have to do.

:D

I don't know about making detailed eyes, I'll try doing a pupil, but I don't much like having a big white spot and such, takes up too many precious pixels [for me at least]. :?

Thanks for the good crits, and your kind words

EDIT: Gave him some pupilesque thingies. [how elequent am I? Did I even spell that right? Ah well, I bet the answer is 42]

Give a stronger outline to the rune color, the arm across his chest blends in too much. Yeah I agree with Quer about the eyes.. And also he doesn't really have a neck, and his head seems out of place, move his head up a bit, or give him a bit of a neck, also hes missing a amulet (makes a massive difference, trust me).. Nice though, nice..

Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. But...I never will be as 1337 as you. :(

To clear up: I made the neck like that intentionaly. His neck is craning forward, and any vestiges of flesh you could normaly see behind his head is covered by the D-med.

I'll try an amulet as well, what type do you guys think would be best?

the neck and head is fine.

use more reds oranges and yellows in his eyes to make him fierce, make the reds go a bit on the left side of the eyes, orange a bit in between and yellow to the right. if you please to do different go right ahead. ruby ammy suits it best since it has a red color scheme

Is...that good? :?

I like this one.

It shows the motion of attacking.

however maybe you could do something on the lower part...

or maybe enhance the colour..?

anyway good job tho! :!:

'Enhance the color?' Explain more, how do I 'do something on the lower part' in your mind?

woohoo! another crotchflap! :o !! me likey.... one without ammy looks much cooler....

  • Author

Crotchflap Armour>Platelegs.

Period. :D

Just a suggestion, but i think the ammy looks sort of strange. Try making it more oval. Right now it reminds me of one of those melted watches from a Salvador Dali painting.

I erm... don't like it. For one, the face looks so much better compared to the body. Realy... i'm hating the way the armor looks and the position he's in. He doesn't look human...almost looks like a clay mold with armor on.

The shading in the back i like, as for the face, but try and darken down the armor... maybe put more atention to the details like where everything is, because its hard to tell what is going on in a way.

the legs look just a bit skinny for the rest of the piece. Otherwise not too bad.

I like the dynamism of the pose.

still the eyes there still.. empty.. :(

the amy seems flat you drew it in the wrong perspective, a sort of side view would do better

and the armor can fixed easy with higher contrast to make it look metal.

something like the contrasts of 15 dark and 85 light will do.. (you use gg? if not start using it, you'll like it)

and you couldtry making the clothing underneath the armor look like black leather (high contrasts once again, and very tight around the arms)

Thanks for the honest opinions guys.

-Yes, Quer I do use GG, but I'm afriad I don't know what your talking about really, I'll twidle around and see if I find the light and dark thingy. Leather does sound goodish, I'll try that as well. And ok, I'll try a differant perspective on the ammy.

-Skinny Legs? I don't see it. Could someone back her up if they realy are, because my eyes may be biased.

-I'll try and use more contrast then Nadril.

tttia is a guy
