Advised - Eadgar's Ruse Quest Completed (Quick easy Teleport)

 

70 Prayer and Kings Ransom quest completed (For piety)

Beserker/Warrior Ring > Wealth Ring > Recoil Ring > Ring of Life

 

 

 

You MUST have a Zamarok item equipt (Unholy Symbol ,Blessed D'hide, Zamorak Godsword Etc.)

 

 

 

Getting to the Zamorak Fortress

 

 

 

 

 

 

Start - I am writing this from after you've talked to knight and already put the rope down.

 

 

 

Teleport to Trollheim drop 2 shark teleport back to Edgeville restock teleportback and pick up the 2 shark so you have full inventory of food.

 

 

 

This will help with 1 Kill more!

 

 

 

go into the dungeon Look at map on where to pray on the way to the dungeon (Make sure you have Zamorak Book Equipt) and head north to the Ice Bridge and swim over it this requires 70 Hitpoints.

 

Kill 40 imps as you wont have to use food.

 

 

 

The spawn locations of the imps are here, there is only 4.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once you have gotten 40 kills if you are with a team meet at the door if you are solo head to door.

 

 

 

Boss Room

 

 

 

K'ril Tsutsaroth Biggest threat he is Melee and Magic based take him down as fast as you can.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tstanon Karlak Melee Based

 

 

 

 

 

 

Balfrug Kreeyath Magic Based

 

 

 

 

 

 

Zakl'n Gritch Range Based

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now pot, in this order, Saradomin Brew, Super restore, Super attack, Super Strength, Super antipoison and drink 2 doses of your prayer potion, Equip you DDP++ and Load the special ready with auto retaliate OFF.

 

 

 

Put melee prayer on, and Piety and head through the door Run EAST to the altar and wait for the 650 to come to you whilst he's heading over equipt your Rune Defender, use your DDP++ Special attack, until you have no more special and switch to whip

 

it's vital you look at your hitpoints because he can hit 40s so eat up and stay at full hitpoints.

 

 

 

The map below shows where the ranger and mage are and the black line indicates where the mage and range cant hit you you have to be to the EAST of this line if you stand on the line you'll be hit.

When he dies kill the Meleer (Tstanon Karlak), and run over and kill the mage (Balfrug Kreeyath) with Range prayer on and then the Mage Prayer (Zakl'n Gritch).

 

 

 

One more trick is if the Mage and the Ranger is attacking you once the Meleers are dead, If you hug the north wall only the ranger can attack you so your team mate can attack mage and the ranger will be on you if your unsure look at youtube link

 

 

 

If your with a team do exactly the same but there are some tricks to it, as you can see in the youtube video

I find mage hits harder than the ranger dhide is initially for the 650s maging now and again :) its why karils is preferred then i'd be praying range when i'm at Mage and Range step :mrgreen:

Would Veracs helm be better than torags because the defence is similar and it has a prayer bonus.

Update - in 2 hours or so youtube Vid will be removed found 2 new tactics that help alot! need to get on vid so waiting for team

I'm happy to say this guide helped me become the first person with single-digit defense (because pure doesn't clarify enough) to solo the Zammy Boss. It was hard, and I got unlucky the first two times because I wasn't hitting anything with whip, but the 3rd time I had mith gloves and they seemed to help loads O_O

Will be updating this guide tommorow with updated what you should take for team pic because of new methods i have tweaked a little with a 7 man team we lasted 4 hours!

does the d hide really help when killing the boss? ive been killing with dharoks plate for def and veracs skirt def and pray and i seemed to get on fine ( soloing 1 kill a trip ) i got my godsword shard one of the maging demon after i had killed the melee one, i suggest putting protect range or mage on just before going into the dungeon as the sara mages and rangers attack you if your wearing zamy equip, i used protect mage with barrows armour but maybe range would be better with d hide

His secondary attack is magic based.. dhide/karils is so he splashes, if you wear plate surely he hits more frequently.

 

 

 

but yes with a team i'm tweaking atm, with new shielding technique you takie minimal damage, so i may be looking towards prayer boosting now

Just wondering, what kinda attack+defence would you suggest if two guys were to go fight him? also, do you think he could be ranged? we both have 99 range and 95+defence. thanks in advance
