September 3, 200718 yr Author I checked the stats of barrows armors. Verac leg +83 def and +4 prayer Torag leg +83 def and Verac is cheaper? :shock: ok I'll just get Verac leg.. Some other questions... Arhim Top + Bottom are common magic attack armors...? (instead of infinity and 3rd age) Karils Top + Bottom gives best magic defence...? (instead of expensive items like 3rd age...etc) Torag helm and top gives best meele defence...? Guthan is good only when stealing hp..? Dharok gives best range defence...? (instead of expensive items) Am I right on this?? :shock: thanks
September 4, 200718 yr well out of all my barrows career ive had guthan spearx3 guthan helmx1 guthan skirtx1 dharok letgsx1 dharok helmx1 dharok platex2 toraq platex3 verack flaix1 verack brassardx2 verac skirtx4 verac helmx3 few karil items 3 ahrim staffs 1 ahrim top 7k in bloods 10k in mind and chaos runes errr sorry but that doesnt help him at all :-w ive gotten 4 v helms in a span of 20 trips before ;) no kidding yea ahrims give the best magic attack in the game but karil is not that good...same range bonus as blk d hide but high def. the best range attack bonus armour currently is that from the god war dungeons...yea guthan is mainly for training slayer but it does give relatively good def too...btr than full dragon at least. maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it

September 4, 200718 yr What Salim said is a great combination. V Skirt is cheap and gives good def bonuses (I used it with Fighter Torso for a while), Torag Plate is quite cheap and offers great defense and dharok helm is a little more, if you are really stretched for cash, just buy a Torag helm. Only 250k and offers good defense bonuses, or Helm of Neitz. VERY cheap, offers prayer and str bonus as well as reasonable def bonuses. [Tip.It Mod][Retired][Add your Steam name here!]

September 4, 200718 yr The "cheapest" combination while obtaining the maximum or near maximum defence statistics of the barrow sets is as follows: Torag's Helmet - 250-300k Guthan's Platebody - 450-500k Verac's Plateskirt - 350-450k Total Cost - 1050-1250K (1.05-1.25M) However, if money is not an issue, this is the best mix 'n' match combo available. Verac's Helmet - 1.8-1.9M (Torag helmet defence, with a prayer bonus) Dharok/Guthan/Torag Platebody - No difference really. Verac Plateskirt - 350-450k Well there you have it, hope this helped. :) EDIT: Here's a minimal cost armour set which, in my opinion provides a huge defence bonus. Credits to RuneHQ for the Equipment Bonus calculator. 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer
