From past experience, I'd say the drop rate is around 1 in 500, but I could be off by maybe x2 either way. Still, I think that's close enough to give you a feel for that rate. They aren't that hard to kill, either. Their max hit is 8 and they have 150 hp. Only problem is they do have rather impressive defense.

I got 85 slayer yesterday and yes... i must say those demons are greedy

I would go with Mc's theory. I've killed something like 700+ abyssal demons and so far got 1 whip drop.

No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
