September 9, 200718 yr i would say mining will prove to make you more money if you pay attention. wcing is something you can do and not worry if you look away because you will still be chopping. mining coal is fast money, but one thing i do in f2p is use world 16 airs. at lvl 55 you can make some money if you can get cheap ess and sell airs high. once at 66 or higher you are set for easy money. good luck
September 9, 200718 yr okay i started a new account, so which would be faster money, woodcutting or mining? please give me a reason with your opinion, thanks. wood cuting all the way.. onces you get 30 wood cut, cut willows you will need to chop 3.8k of them to get 60 so that's 120k if you sell for 30ea..but you might want to cut some more willows because cuting yews at 60 is hard..you will never get a yew trust me..so you should get around 65 wc before you start cuting yews. you will need to cut 2k more. that's another 60k.. add that up to 120k 120k+60k=180k! hop that helps you and sorry if my math is a little off

September 9, 200718 yr 5k willows, at lvl 83 wc (thats my lvl) takes me about 5 hours in a f2p world. mining 2k iron takes me 2 hours in a f2p world with 70 mining (also my lvl). faster money is iron in this scenario, by far
September 9, 200718 yr woodcutting stinks in f2p...for the simple reason that there are a hell lot of yew autoers and willow logs are dirt cheap. the autoers simply cause u to lose your drive to woodcut and makes you think that u are competing with a computer...which is true. so far everytime i cut yews (which has only been a few times due to the autoers) ive yet to find a SINGLE woodcutter who isnt an autoer since nobody responds to what i say and isnt it obvious just be their names and levels? ill say mining...with low lvl mining go mine iron till u get 60 then move on to coal in the mining guild. when u get to 85 u can make a significant amount of money per hour...ive 85 mining and when i go rune mining on a good hour i can mine around 22 rune ores which equals to 264k if u sell them for 12k each. thats more than what you would earn woodcutting from lvl 30 to 65. of course it takes more time to get to 85 mining but you get the idea =; maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
September 9, 200718 yr Well, I'm glad I got some of the oak log "gold rush" during the construction boom, but they are now back below nomal logs. Essence mining is another possibility, as normal rune essence has made up a lot of the ground it lost when pure essence was introduced - one advantage of essence mining is that you mine a full load and don't have to worry about competition. Iron is a better price though, and no slower if you are at a good spot with several rocks to repeat round.
September 9, 200718 yr ess is very slow money. the most i have ever mined in an hour is about 1.1-1.2k when i was a member pouches and at the mage guild. that isnt that much in terms of profits, especially since it is normal ess, not pure. however, you could take that mined normal ess and use it in world 16 airs. there you will make lots of money, but i generally say its worth the money to buy it as apposed to mining it.
