gubiguy
Ok, my friend and i were just joking around, trying to find secrets of runescape when we said you should be able to analyze certain objects and see what they were made out of and stuff like that. The skill would be called the knowledge skill and you would gain a small amount of xp by simply reading books and stuff like that. Once you get further into it some quests might start having requirements for it. EXAMPLE OF USEFULLNESS IN QUESTS: Lets say the quest is to discover a robbery of a bank. There was evidence left behind that would point to the suspect and its your job to figure out the composition of the items and who they might relate to the greatest. In fact this skill could bring along a whole new breed of things to do. Instead of quests, and achievements, mysteries. They could range from everyday stolen items to legends and myths long forgotton, yet waiting to be solved. As you can probably see this topic can be expanded a thousand times over to include many things. So lets hope this creates enough hype, maybe jagex will make it a skill. blender923
I personally think that it could even be adding to mining in a bit because you can't do much in mining besides dig up ores and other stones. You should be able to excavate and inspect artifacts and identify their worth so you can sell them. Kinda like herbs, exept Jagex shouldn't make em tradable :) If time was money, I just found ten minutes on the ground!

If this concept isn't used for a quest, maybe if could be used for a minigame If time was money, I just found ten minutes on the ground!
hybrid2hell
Meh.... Sorry, but i dont really like this idea I engineered this thread with precise variables that I know would cause lul-worthy flames.
wizardguy31
I like it.The artifacts idea is awesome 'cause you could sell the artifact to the Varrok Museum for exp or "big cash" lol. I resemble that remark!Achieved quest cape for first time on: 4-2-09 WOOHOO! Beat Nomad on 6-24-10 WOOHOO!.
agira
You guys better make suggestion for some minigame to help train mining :) Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
