Biabf
Hey I'm thinking of getting an Xbox 360, I've heard from some peope but is there 100gb and change of colour really worth the ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã50 is costs? I've heard the only difference is colour, marketplace content and 100gb, should I pay the ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã50 extra or go for the normal 360?
adam_ross0
For now, go with the Premium. It still has an HDMI port, 20GB HD..and if you want the 120GB HD later, then I think that you can buy it separate and it will work for the premium. I THINK..dont trust that too well ;)

Although I think the hard drive is $150 separate and the Elite is $100 difference so that would be up to you.
deloriagod
My bro is getting the Halo 3 Edition Xbox 360. I think it looks neat and if he gets tired of the case I'll swap it out with the case from his old 360 (which got the red ring so I tore it apart and salvaged the case). Personally, I'd just go with the normal one and buy a bigger harddrive you if need it. Internet Marketing For Newbies
stevepole
buy the elite its well worth it in the long run, especially if you have the extra $50 to spare. They run quieter, have the bigger harddrive, etc.
Biabf
Thing si I don't really need to put music and videos on it... I use my computer for stuff like that? Do the saved games really take up much space?

Do the saved games really take up much space? No, and truthfully, unless you are an absolute junkie for that kind of stuff, you won't need anywhere near 100gb, or even 20 for that matter. LP
Get the elite... if you plan on going online with the system, IPTV comes out for the 360 within the next year probably so you'll want the features of a elite.
Karmastocracy
Get an elite, it's too complicated to explain right now (1:30 A.M.) but the new "Falcon" technology is in the Elite, and is currently not coming out in the other versions of the 360. The falcon technology is not a good deciding factor of buying the 360 just on that. It will not have any performance gains,. It will just be a dye shrink from 90nm to 65nm which would mean it runs cooler and uses less power, hardly something to wait up for. I don't think it's out for any version yet (please correct me if I'm wrong, would love to know). I do know it's not out for the regular premiums yet. The new 360's with the HDMI port have better heatsinks for the cpu and gpu which should solve all red ring of death problems. Oh, I don't know if you meant that it will not come out for other versions or not, it would obviously have to. The dye shrink will make the 360 cheaper to produce for Microsoft, so why wouldn't they try to save more money?
megakiller32
I know this isnt the question, but erm- Good luck keeping it from breaking  Back on the question- i'd wait a tiny bit longer, just to see if the elite breaks down as much, if so, entirely up to you :D Quit Runescape 30th May 2006.Thanks to Hawkxs for my signature :)
