Animal Crossing 3

Featured Replies

Well, if you played Animal Crossing for GC you'd know it was great while it was new and if you played Wild World you knew it was a blast, but what of the Wii version?

I've been searching around lately for info on the 3rd but not much is said other then an animal crossing game IS coming out for Wii and its going to be huge. I also read they have no target date and the director of Wild World was one of the Mii Channel makers.

I've also hear rumors of there going to be a system were you can design your own furniture, and be able to cook. So many new possiblities with this new game.

Anyone who can contribute to the discussion is greatly welcomed.

I agree that the one for GC was great until you caught all of the fish and bugs. After that, it got kinda boring. I wonder how crazy the one for Wii is gonna be. Wasn't there supposed to be another one for GC? Did it get cancelled or something?

Hey, I may have quite Runescape, but I just bought an XBOX 360 and play way to much COD4 with the Gamertag Lava Mage

it should be a cool game i liked wild world the dc one got boring fast

One of the things they were saying about the Wii was that it can stay in a permanant state online, even when turned "off" (on standby in reality) as opposed to the DS which only goes online when you tell it to. Maybe they're planning on incorparating that? As in, you and your mates could literally just waltz in to one another's towns without telling that dog to open the gate. Being able to leave messages, give presents, talk to their neighbours... stuff like that.

Also, I can see the Wii remote being used to actually bring fishing and bug catching to life.

In fact, far from being the series's weakest game, I think it's a perfect game for the Wii. :)

O yes, I heard of the ability to go to a friend's even if they're on or not, but I read somewhere the Wii has to be in standby (thats when your Wii is off but still shows the green light, like when you hit the power button on the remote or just lightly click the console power button).
