the sig is old. the clan chat isnt called tipit anymore. it's lightning. to get there type lightning.

 

and the chat uses hyt as a title.

 

The signature is for tip.its IRC Chat Genius.

 

 

 

i think this thread is stupid AND offensive. way to try to sabotage runescape's addition of clan chat and lightning's attempt to make a good clan chat ingame. she probably wouldnt say it but i think it is totally rude backstabbing and backbiting and 100% childish adult behavior.

 

 

 

Emm, Im sure lightning would agree with me. But I put a LOT into the ingame clan chat, I helped her with setting up the channel, I wrote up channel rules and even saw who was suitable too be a channel mod.

 

 

 

a lot of people have said they prefer! the ingame chat spam or not; yeah that's what the ignore feature is for and respect that instead of trying to characterize the ingame chat in a negative way.

Well, the fact that Im a CHAT MOD means I can't just put them on ignore, as I am there to make it a better place for the users, what good is it if i ignore them?

 

 

 

dont like it there? dont go there! ingame chat with mods, and sad, very sad, to see some of the chat mods here dissing clan chat. you shouldnt be modded there if you ask me. the ingame clan chat is a success with a few bumps. why try to sabotage it? god no wonder with all the politics and backstabbing going on at tipit; who wouldnt want to consider leaving tipit.

 

In case you didn't realize, I DO go there a lot as I do enjoy it. It doesn't stop the fact that tip.it in game chat has spammers. No one would deny that.

 

I wouldnt visit the irc chat after seeing the behaviour of the people that mod it on this thread with their double dealing and attempts to get out of their responsiblity of modding clan chat.

 

Don't you think if we didn't WANT to mod the clan chat, we would just not BE chat mods, we volunteer to do it. We are not forced.

 

 

 

what you've got is a bunch of people that, as they've stated, would rather fold their laundry and put their soup in the microwave while still being in chat as mods; lazy! so it's too much for you to mod an ingame clan chat? then let the people that are ingame enough mod it!

 

I am in that chat on RS moderating a hell of a lot more then I should be. I am also crew for tip.it and play the game as well. So don't even ATTEMPT to call me lazy.

 

 

 

and you can have your irc chat and at the same time wish those that are a part of clan chat and prefer and ingame clan chat well instead of trying to get out of your responsiblity; still clinging to that kick button in another chat; and you disparage clan chat? resign as a mod in clan chat and let those people that actually care about that chat mod it.

 

Man your SOOO right, you've got me. You've realized I don't care about clan chat. Do remember who helped set up the place, wrote the rules and is on the clan chat a lot please.

 

 

 

this is mainly addressed specifically to fat slug, fudgy, and Mil Odedra but if anyone else is doing similar then this applies to them as well. grow up and act like it.

I simply make a post reminding people of tip.it chat and I get people calling me lazy, oblivious to the fact that I already do a lot of things.

vincent deserves a ban, he is so arrogant. Tipit IRC chat is alot more popular then the ingame clan system because you can control things easier. if you have people acting like cabbage then you can just stop them with one click of a finger, on RS they would be back in less then an hour.

 

 

 

Also whats all this BS about we are stabbing Lightning in the back? as far as i know she fully supports both chat systems and she still comes into #runescape after she has quit to talk to some of us once in a while.

 

 

 

Like RBA i have not seen you in #runescape at all, ive been going in there for 4-5 years now and i know that people with your attitude dont last long. Are you a disgruntled wannabe ex tipit IRCer who only lasted one day? you need to check your facts son and shut your mouth. your attitude to all of this is getting you no where but into everyones bad books.

Not even an hour Peter, they could just log onto another account and join again, on the IRC you can just server ban them, for good.

The only thing holding me back from using IRC are war scripts :cry: Tip.it's got its own server right? So can you prevent people using war scripts from using it? I feel vulnerable when someone else can see my IP :lol:

war scripts are rare on tipit irc these days. and when spam attacks etc do happen the mods jump straigh onto it and clean it up.

 

 

 

and about your ip: you can ask mods for a vhost if you dont like you details being shown to normal users.
