I think especially the monster is too hard to see. I love the border and the mountains in the background though. Overall, not bad, I'm sure it will look great if you added some contrast and darker shadows. Also it lacks contrast alot, need some darker shadows and brighter light, otherwise great job. I would suggest to try a darker background like the first one though.
