Right now im training slayer but im in a real need for cash so what do u guys think i should do train with slayer or train on a monster that drops level 3 clues frequently? and if level 3 clues then please could you tell me a monster thanks, btw please dont say ankous because i heard its really rare there like 1 ina thousand lol. thanks.

Well i'd get your slayer up so you can kill some good monsters for the better drops. That way you can make more money with drops than clues

say i get my slayer to like... 60 what monsters can i camp at tp get good drops, and once i hit that level to fight that monster i should not go back to slayer master over and over again, do you guys think i should just train def range and mage and do barrows? i heard barrows aint that good anymore or something.

Barrows is still good but not as profitable but still quite a good money maker if you get good at it. You can kill abberant spectres at 60 and cave horrors at 58 so they are both good droppers.

I'd say keep slaying. As your slayer level ups, you will get better assignments, and most of those assignments will drop level 3 clues, so your killing two birds with one stone.

train slayer as you go it is very good xp and you get clue drops quite often (10 lvl 3's in a week is my record) also slayer gives a variety of styles that you can train on (as in mage,range, mellee) so you can train diffrent things often.

 

 

 

If you decide you want clues more try ranging hellhounds or getting 55 slayer and killing jellies (they drop clues often and other nice drops like rune full helms)

I'd suggest ranging or hallying hellhounds in Taverly Dungeon, or training to 52 Slayer for Jellies.

Do slayer, it'd be slower cash than just going for clues but i still get quite a nice number of clue drops, WITH slayer xp which is always very very nice to have.

 

 

 

The tasks that don't drop lvl 3 clues are still worthwhile, the drops on average pay for all your barrows/food costs and then some, wheras if you just kill hellhounds or something for clues you're missing out on a lot of xp and some extra cash from drops.

 

 

 

If you use chalder + you'll do well with slayer.

 

 

 

Whats more important to you, the cash or the cash+xp? I always go for the second, but that's your choice to make.

Ive done slayer while earning cash. Got lots goodies. One of them was ranger boots;) and i got lots lvl 2 clues. And lvl clue 3 from slay monsters. so good luck
