Welcome to my guide to getting your crystal bow recharge cost to 180k

Runes/Arrows: Fire(37), Law(3), Nature(15,30), Water(75)

 

 

 

Misc: Adamant ore, Bass(1-2), Chaos talisman, Cosmic Talisman, Clue(lvl 3), Half key, Herb, Shield left half(dragon), Nature talisman, Uncut gems

 

 

 

Green items are what we will be keeping to optimize our profits

 

Blue items are up to you if you want to take them

 

Red items aren't even worth your time[/hide]

 

 

 

[hide=What should I wear?]This is what I wear... I find it to be a fairly cheap but effective outfit

Cape: Avas Accumulator

 

Neck: Amulet of Glory

 

Arrows: None (Steel arrows are from the accumulator)

 

Right Arm: Crystal Bow

 

Body: Black Dragon Hide Body

 

Left Arm: None

 

Legs: Black Dragon Hide Legs

 

Right Hand: Black Dragon Hide Vambraces

 

Feet: Climbing Boots

 

Left Hand: Ring of Wealth[/hide]

 

 

 

[hide=Whats the attack plan?]Basically your going to pick one of the above listed location and go there with a empty inventory. Then you'll find a safe spot and pick accurate or rapid (I use accurate)... Then range your heart away... Once you fill up your inventory youll bank and repeat... What happens if you get something that you would like to pick up besides a Blue Dragon Hide or a Dragon Bone you may ask... You'll want to find out the current prices for the Blue Dragon Hide and Dragon Bone and leave one on the ground to keep your other precious item...

 

 

 

Note: If the Dragon Bone is lower pick it up and bury it for some prayer experience.[/hide]

 

 

 

[hide=So you broke your Crystal Bow, Now what?]Well to bad... Just kidding... You'll need to talk to Ilfeen... Heres a map to help you locate your way through out the woods but before you can do this youll have to go and sell your Blue Dragon Hides and your Dragon Bones also any other items you may have recieved... Currently Both Dragon Bones and Blue Dragon Hide are about 1.8k ea... If this is the second time your recharging you probaly haven't recieved enough cash from those Blue Dragon Hides and Dragon Bones Thats where that extra 100k comes in... If your wondering where the other 900k is from the 1+ Million coins... The first recharge cost 900k.

 

 

 

 

 

 

[hide=As you can see there are two paths]

 

 

 

[hide=Lletya Teleport Spot]Required items:

 

Tiny elf crystal (charged)

 

 

 

For this one all you need to do is bring 1 or 2 lobbies and an antipoison youll see some Dire Wolfs lvl 88 but you can run right by youll also be faced with one tripwire.[/hide]

 

 

 

[hide=Secret Gate Pathway]For this one you should bring 5 - 10 lobbies, an antipoison, some potion/item that brings your energy up, Also I would bring Spotty/Spottier Cape, Boots of Lightness, And anything else to bring weight down... In this path you will come across Dire Wolfs they are lvl 88 and youll be faced against leaves and tripwires.[/hide][/hide][/hide]

 

 

 

[hide=Earlier you said that I would make my 1.2+ Million coins back...]So heres how you earn it back once you get to the 3rd charge you should be pulling in enough cash to profit or break even... heres what most of my runs come down too... I get about 14 Blue Dragon Hides and Dragon Bones Per 1/10 of my Crystal Bow...

 

 

 

[hide=Profit Table]Blue Dragon Hide = 1.8k

 

Dragon Bones= 1.8k

 

 

 

So 1.8k x 2 = 3.6k

 

 

 

You get 14 Dragon Bones and Blue Dragon Hides per 1/10 of your Crystal Bow

 

 

 

So 3.6k x 14 = 50.4k

 

 

 

Since theres 10 parts of your Crystal Bow

 

 

 

50.4k x 10 = 504k

 

 

 

Now This is how it works out

 

 

 

1st Charge = You lose 396k

 

2nd Charge = You lose216k

 

3rd Charge = You lose 36k

 

4th Charge = You gain 144k

 

5th+ Charge = You gain 324k[/hide][/hide]

Only blue dragons?

 

Is there any other monsters we can use it on?

I like it, I'm using this method to get my charges down too.

I believe that once you get your bow down to the 180k you can sell just the hides and keep the bones... Ill do some math lol...

 

 

 

Hide = 1.8k

 

 

 

1.8k x 14 = 25.2k

 

 

 

25.2k x 10 = 252k

 

 

 

So yes you can still make a profit if you dont see your bones

 

 

 

Its not as much obviouly but its there... youll make 72k profit and some prayer xp :)

Bow isnt tradeable... but i believe you can buy the crystal seeds from players...

u can trade the bow if its at 10/10 and hasn't been fired once, also i hav some questions on this, i read somwhere that it cost more than 1.2mil to get it down that low, its like 900k for 1st then 720k, 640k, 360k then 180k and i do beleave that all that adds up to more than 1.2mil and ur not makin profit till after the 4th repair, or am i missing something? could u plz elaberate?

You only need like 1.2M because the money you get from selling the d hides and bones... Read through the guide... and maybe youll understand it a little better...

sweet guide....people should really try this. Im not much of a ranger so i won't be doing this till next summer(if i plan to go for 99 range).
