I've been busy in vue as of latly. One of my main things i've been trying to work on is the textures. I've learned alot just kind of messing with the program (didn't read any tutorials about Textures. Infact only one's i looked at are just how some people did a few scenes, and one about boolian operations lol.)

Anyways.. i'm still working on stuff here. I want to make a beach, which i'm trying to do as of now  i'm also working on the atmosphere a bit... was going for a kind of foggy look for this.

So... its realy not "done". I have to add vegitation (trees/plants and stuff) maybe some small rocks.. work on a beach actualy.. among some other things. I have a few hours of work already put into this piece, and hoping to put some more time into it.

I like it. That Vue was a great buy for ya! ;)

nice, Vue has a different look from terragen, it looks a whole lot better IMO. the textures look much more realistic, and I can't wait to see some 3d objects in these :)

keep it up, and lets hope it becomes a beach some day hehe

And i might even add in a little house i'm working on ... but no idea where it could go lol. Maybe up in the mountains in the back, hah

You seriously lack a sense of scale and it really hurts the image. The mountains look like typical CG mountains with a very predictable bumpiness to them. Keep at it.
