What would be a decent melee level to kill blue drags? I need a little over 2000 dragon bones for 70 prayer and I want to collect them myself. I would go for green drags but I get pked a LOT.

Just range them.

 

 

 

Also the best place is taverly dungeon. Go to the place with the Blue Dragons listed and bring a dusty key to get into the place also.

 

 

 

Also bring bronze/iron arrows and kill them at the safespots(you'll see people there)

 

Is my range high enough to kill them at a decent rate?

You could melee them with your stats if you use decent food and exscpecially if you use super set considering then constant banking when fighting dragons. Ranging them is good but if you want to train melee then its your choice. I still suggest green dragons (that's where I train) since you can easily tele on first atk if you are that worried, but they have much lower hp and def.

the best place is definately not taverly dungeon, even if you have 70 agility. The best place is the Ogre/Watchtower dungeon, if you have the levels and have done the quest. (It helps if your house is in yanille)

+1 and i suggest 80 range using pot, pot speed it up by masses.

i killed 1k from 60-70 range in like 15 hours house in yanille

possibly try heroes guild dungeon but it gets a little crowded

 

 

 

ps ranging is better and uses less food no matter where you go
