The answer to the ring of wealth questions-

Featured Replies

I wrote to Jagex about this topic, and they said,

"Thank you for writing in about the Ring of Wealth - this item improves your chances of receiving valuable item drops from all monsters."

I took this from direct quote, you don't have to believe me, but this is the truth about it. I did not copy the whole message, but just the main part of it. So, the ROW is not just a superstition. I hope this clears up all of the confusion. \'

Jagex have said that many times and everyone knows it. It's just that people think they are lying.

Retired from RuneScape for as long as possible.

the people who think they are lying are probably the people who used to torture small cute pigs when they were small.

No need for the drama, they are just people who don't understand probability.

Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! (give my guide a read :^_^: )

now go ask them what they mean by valuable drops...

yea the answer will be left half for example - which is 50k and less...

(if a monster drops a d med and a d left half it increases the chance of left half. d med is what? 200k? and left half is.............50k)

You're obviously selling your half shields for way too little. People still buy dragon squares for 900k-1 mil, just be firm with your prices.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

Yes, there is some improvement in drops when wearing a ROW. Jagex has stated it numerous times.

But the amount of improvement is what is always questioned.

There is a big difference in what Jagex thinks to be a worthwhile improvement and what you and I think to be a worthwhile improvement.

Here is a quote from the Kbase:

The ring of wealth increases the chance of getting a rare drop when you kill a monster. You will never get items that are not normally dropped by that monster (e.g. a dragon medium helmet from a chicken) but you may get something that the monster seldom drops.

Things like Treasure Trail rewards and Barrows rewards, which aren't monster drops, are not affected by the ring of wealth.

Many people would rather wear a ring of life instead.

PvP is not for me

the point is they are cheaper than d meds, but for jagex they are a better drop than med

The superstitions are normally just people who are sad cause they haven't gotten an insanely good drop with it

No, the superstitions come from people who get better drops while not wearing it and then they get no good drops while using it.
