October 17, 200718 yr My friend said that some games like Half Life 2 and Halo don't work on Vista, and therefore Vista sucks. Is that true? I mean, the game compatibility, not the usefulness/coolness of Vista. Vista FTW.
October 17, 200718 yr Half life 2 works on vista, in fact I haven't seen anything really that hasn't (ran on my roomates PC, which has vista).
October 17, 200718 yr My mate has vista....and everything has worked for him since he got it(He plays pretty much every major game under the sun) The only problem I've heard of is that if your playing on vista...games sometimes require a bit more ram to play(I'm thinking specifically of Hellgate: London) Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board!

October 17, 200718 yr There are very few games that will have issues with Vista. They are either fixed by using compatibility mode or by a patch. All new games should be built for Vista and have no problems. All Steam games work under Vista, including Half Life2.
October 17, 200718 yr Yea, HL2 works, and I don't see why Halo wouldn't considering Microsofts affiliation with it. But I have heard of some older, especially not as big titles not working (and by older, I mean 5+ years old).
