Bmw
Hey While using Adobe Photoshop 8 CS, I keep encountering the same error. When I click to use a tool, it usually works. However, sometimes it just shows nothing. Here is an example of what I mean: As you can see, the tool is clicked, but the normal mouse cursor remains. This means I cannot use this tool at all! Whats going on? Have I locked something? Also, sometimes it happens halfway through doing something, sometimes it may happen even before I start. Help Please! Bmw

Mercifull
Try here first http://www.adobe.com/support/products/photoshop.html If you cant find your problem just contact Adobe CS. Simply give them your product key and they will be more than happy to help  Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Greatsilverwyrm
macs stink.... He's not using a mac. BMW, does this happen all the time, or just this time using PS? Have you tried restarting the prog/rebooting/reinstalling?

Alduron
I noticed that you have another file on your work area minimized in the bottom left corner... If you clicked on the file and it thinks its primary (highlighted, being worked on) even if the other one is open it will give you the regular mouse cursor (I tried it on mine to verify). So I suggest you always click on the picture that you are going to work on just to be sure it is active. Hope that helps. If not good luck.
