October 24, 200718 yr I have already created a forum, but i am not happy with it. I need a forum that can add 'Ranks' at the bottom. Our current only has [ Administrator ] and [ Moderator ], but it does not allow me to add more. Does anybody know a forum hosting site that allows me to do this? Thanks.
October 24, 200718 yr You arn't going to be able to find many Free hosted php sites....you're going to find the more "cool" stuff on homemade php forums and pay to use forums. Hope that helps, Brs Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board!

October 25, 200718 yr you are looking for the "extend ranks" mod, I once saw a phpbb host that has it, but you're better off with a server, or at least a host with php. So it turns out my forum host isn't very reliable... it goes down everyday. Anybody know a good host that i can use?
October 28, 200718 yr I'd use 1&1. They have web hosting with everything you'll need (Your own domain, as well) starting at about $4/month. If you can pay for that, it's probably your best bet (I use them, and their service is really nice).. I once shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.Pics or it didn't happen. I hate my generation.

October 29, 200718 yr Well, you might as well get server space somewhere on a server that has PHP support, aka a MySQL database, and simply set up the forum from scratch. The PhpBB forum is free, so it's not that hard to set it up, just requires a FTP program, a little bit of FTP knowledge and server space. Need a countdown? October 29, 200718 yr Depends, if you are willing to pay for hosting, just set up a phpBB forum on your host. If you don't mind paying a lot, you could use IPB 2.2 Or if you just want a free host, I recommend Jcink Forum Service. The support is great, and the features are just, wow. Or Fantastico to do it for you. ;) Honestly mate buy some webspace or buy a forum host and a domain. Free hosted forums always fail...
October 29, 200718 yr Author Ok, thanks guys. But i don't think i really want to buy, as it's just for my clan. Do you use this host? http://www.forumer.com/ I am planning on starting a forum next week with it. Yeas i am using forumer. I don't recommend it though.
October 29, 200718 yr google "free host with php", you will get many results. a good bit of them are [bad], but eventually you may find something. download phpbb from phpbb.com, upload, run install.php/config.php? then google "phpbb extend rank color mod", follow the directions and you're done!
