  1. Thank you, Mr. Mirror. =)

  2. Thank you, Mr. Danger. =)

  3. I just thought I'd say, you jumped a bit ahead of yourself, hehe. That's exactly what TET has been doing in the past two years. Creative events and fun events have been pushed out by simple content running. I'm sure a lot of people love that, but to those of us who were around in the old days, it feels terrible. What TET was turning into was a team that organized raids, essentially. RS doesn't call it that, but it's no different from my clan organizing raids in SW:TOR or Rift. 4 years ago, TET was the synonim for fun events that were new and original. With the liberty that the game gave, we thought of new ways to use what's in there to create things that weren't specifically designed to be done. We used donations to organize free drop parties and stuff like that. Slave auctions, find mes, all sorts of things, even a kidnapping. What a lot of people failed to realize is that there is a huge amount of work that goes into these things. We took pride in the standard we had for events. Every event was worked on by multiple team members, beside the original author, proofread, approved, and then executed. Everything had to have a background story, people had to be givem roles, and stuff organized ahead of time. It's been over 2 years since I left the team, but I remember how it was back then. If I was in the team now, and had to do all that in order to simply do some game content with a bunch of people, I'd get tired of the work. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that they've decided to simply make a monster hunting team. This way, the community gets what it wants, and there is no need to continue providing a service that was not needed.
  4. It's been so long... I saw the twitter post, and I couldn't resist checking this out. I miss the good old times, way back when people actually enjoyed our events, and nobody looked was crazy about money. Sure, the drop parties pulled in a lot of people looking for money, but it was still focused on fun, rather than making money. I actually only continued playing Runescape because of the Tip.it community. But, the game develops, and so does the community. It's been years since we were able to have proper events. I actually didn't expect TET would survive this long. The memories we have are something we should cherish. I made many friends when I first started coming to events, then I made even more friends when I actually joined the team. It's been a crazy few years, and though I haven't been with you guys since I left, I still remember that time fondly. You all know how to find me. If you don't, just type in deejayhr into anything on the net. I'm probably on it. I'll end this with the the undying words of the old TET folk. Bring on the fun! Deejayhr
  5. Thank you for the birthday congrats, Gradeskip! I didn't see it till now, but I appreciate it. =)

  6. is back from his vacation. Hi folks!

  7. Oh hello there, I clicked into your blog through your sig. Good job on getting the quest cape. However, what really impressed me was your art. You rock man! Also, I haven't had the time to check if someone else posted, but the mysterious character that you didn't name is Zangetsu. Free cookies! YAY! =)
  8. Yeah... I know I promised I'd update soon, but I'm unable to keep my promise. I'm working full steam, and I don't have much time for Runescape. TET is a heck of a job, believe me. Those of you that applied to join the crew, be prepared for hell, because working on Tip.it is many things, but it's not easy. Sure, it's fun, and awesome and stuff, but hard work is essential. Now, since my last post, I have achieved a couple of goals. I got the 50 agility. After that I moved on to my next skill to advance, thieving. I got it to 53 in order to start doing Desert Treasure. Let it be known that I hate thieving. It sucks, and it's useless, but I got it from 42 to 53. Once that was done, I did Waterfall, Temple of Ikov, and started Desert Treasure. Seeing as I didn't have enough time to finish the quest, once I got the Ring of Visibility, I moved on to my old, and very wanted goal. GHOST ROBES! I'm happy to say I managed to get the whole set, and even took a double right away. However, during this, I also managed to lose all my range gear. While I was going through the lava maze, utterly lost, I wandered into the Lesser Demon area outside of the maze, and went down to the KBD teleport. Omnitec warned me not to pull the lever, but me being a forgetful idiot, and thinking he was joking, I pulled it. The KBD pwned me in 2 hits, and now I plan to get my revenge at this weeks TET event. Check it out, it's KBD hunting! I'm not even sure what my next goal is. I plan to finish Desert Treasure this weekend, if I can get the supplies, and my range gear back. It's not expensive, but I'm completely broke. After that, I'll probably finally get range to 70. I'm also thinking I might start on getting 50 farming. That's all for now. Thanks for reading. Bring on the fun!
  9. Hehe, I think you got owned Tomale. Update just got posted. WOOO!
  10. Frankly, I was thrilled. I'm here right now to show you all that you have misunderstood my team mates. I for one agree, and I don't mind Jagex making an event team. I believe it is part of our job to inspire people to open their minds to creativity, event if it means Jagex mods. I would be very happy if there were more events hosted by the community. How could we possibly mind that? There are some things you must understand. Some of you posted saying that we should get over it, and not just think about our ego. Forget our ego. That's not what we're here for. We are here for the community. We don't this for fame. None of us care about fame, or ego, or anything like that. We do what we do just to make people happy. If a person comes to a TET event, and they have fun, we're happy. It's the only motivation we need to continue doing our jobs. We never said Jagex is stealing our ideas. As Barihawk said, most of the events we do today aren't really our ideas. We're just using someones ideas. Someone came before us, and we're just using what they did. The reason why you see upset TET members is that we were told that the mods came to have some fun. When you find out you've been used for research, without being told so, it doesn't really make you happy. If they had told us they want to see the way we work, sure, we wouldn't have minded. Some of us still don't mind. But try and understand how we felt when we read that update. TET was formed in August 2004. It was probably the first organized team to make events on a regular basis. A huge number of people have gone through TET, and worked with us. The amount of work, effort and time that has been invested in TET through the years is huge. We certainly have some pride. Those of you that choose to flame us, please be aware that you have no idea what you're talking about. If you think that after all this time and work, we feel great about being used, then I dare you to have the same opinion in our situation. I don't ask of you to agree with us. I'm just asking that you don't flame us. I really think we don't deserve that. We get nothing in return for our work. And believe me, it is work. Thanks to Barihawk for showing us all the bright perspective. I'm sure we can all agree with him. I'll finish up with our moto. Bring on the fun!
  11. And the blog starts again! A redesign and a post that will update you on the events since I quit this blog will come shortly. You'll never get rid of me. Mwahahaha!
  12. Considering the nature of DDoS attacks, that would be just pointless. They are done by a botnet, a net of virus infected computers that are harnessed for purposes such as attacks on websites. The thing is, the person who owns an infected computer wouldn't be aware of the fact that their computer is used for it. For all you know, your computer might be infected and used for something similar. Reporting the IP would only have a use if you wanted to warn the user their computer was infected. You can't punish a victim for a crime they aren't aware of.
  13. Well, I'll just quote what I recently wrote on the subject of Ddos attacks. I hope this helps you in understanding what exactly our staff is fighting against.
  14. Well I fixed the lower part of U. Thanks to my dynamic IP, I only get 5% ink. It's weird though, I checked drawball in the morning, and the logo was almost perfect, and now the sword is gone, and HYT is DIE. We need to fix all that. Oh btw, I made an IRC channel. Come into the Tip.it chat, you can use the webchat, and join #drawball. Keep it up guys.
  15. P3t0r is an admin now? Woo! Congrats, neeb! SEE?! I CAN SPELL! Give Quotebot staff mod powers!
  16. Buuuuuuuuump! Your blog is deserted, Sas. =( What's up? Long time no talk or see. I hope you're ok.
  17. I see you've managed to beat my blogs post count in much shorter time lol. I have to say, nice levels, but I will beat you somehow. Someday... Hopefully. :P Keep up with the good work.
  18. RDC is Red Devil Clan. Their memberlist: http://www.runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=rdcfinal. Seems nice. Btw, I've always wondered, is Corr tip.it based now, or rsc based?
  19. Might want to check out the Staff list. :D Seriously though, you didn't get an answer cause the answer is already there. It's right over the login button, hard to miss. Anyway, nice business you got there. Just keep it going. Good luck.
  20. I disagree with the whole idea of a public alliance. I am most definitely against Tip.it ganging up with the rest on RSC. This topic could easily mean the doom of this alliance. If only one smart rsc or major clan member sees this, we'll have RSC and all their best clans against us, and I'm quite sure we all know that we'll get completely owned in that case. I vote NO.
  21. So you got it without telling me, eh? I won't forget that. You'll see. I will have my revenge! Just kidding. Congrats on all the levelups. KUTGW!
  22. This blog is in desperate need of updates, really. But I'm too lazy/busy/stupid/all three/none, to do it. Maybe some time in the future.
  23. I really enjoyed reading your stories. You're very talented. I'll watch this topic. Come to a TET event from time to time. :)
  24. You'd be surprised, but we are having a barbarian assault event this saturday! We're going to have great fun, and you should come. It'll be at 3 PM CST. You can find the info here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=713489
