October 25, 200718 yr So I have a American Express Prepaid Gift Card and wanted to try buying membership with it, but they don't accept it. Do I have any other options, still using this card, to purchase membership? Would I be able to transfer the funds to paypal? I'm not sure if they accept Gift Cards from American Express. Is there's no other option, I can just use the money for something else and mail money in, or use this Gift Card to buy a Visa one (wasting another $5 on activation fees).

October 25, 200718 yr depending on how old you are, i'd say just goto a bank..open up a free checking account put some money in it and use a visa debit card. you'll probably have t have a parent sign on with you if you are under 19 in the u.s.

October 25, 200718 yr Author I have a paypal but there's no way I can get money added to it. It doesn't accept American Express Giftcards, only Visa and Mastercard. And bank account is a no-no. Well problem solved, well not really. American Express still sucks with Gift Cards. I found an entire page with complaints about their system. I decided just to use the card to buy one from Visa.
