October 27, 200718 yr Well, the other day while ranging at Lessers on Crandor, I was thinking that there just had to be a better way to get range exp. on F2P. So, I thought that I'd ask the good people of Tip It this question. With my range of 55, what would be the best(Meaning Quickest and cheapest) way to get my range to level 70?This includes Arrows I should use, monsters, nearby safe spots, etc. Thanks in advance guys(or gals).
October 27, 200718 yr Minotaurs in the Stronghold of security. There is a safe spot and you will pick up more iron arrows from the drops than you will use. After you get to 60-65 then go to moss giants in the Varrok sewer.
October 27, 200718 yr Sounds good, or you could train on flesh crawlers instead of minotaurs. Still a safespot in there. As for arrows, probably bronze. Buy them from the shop for 7gp each. Nice and cheap, and you dont have to worry about losing them.
October 28, 200718 yr Try adamant arrows for best f2p training. Also a great way to waste a tonnnn of money. Yeah, go bronze or iron. And I've always liked lessers, but meh, probably because I'd rather not click every 10 seconds. Just try stuff out, see what you like best, and stick with it. Good luck! I guess cause I never saw the need. I also felt that if I moved into the version of the game that was always changing that it would in some way invalidate the work that I had already put into my account.

October 28, 200718 yr Bronze arrows and range the hobgoblins over the water near the crafting guild. Go into the cow pen, and go to the edge of the water. Start ranging :P Good for powerleveling
November 16, 200718 yr id go with flesh crawlers with bronze or iron arrows, or if you dont care about being hit, go to the lvl 50 spiders in lvl 3 of the stronghold. theyre the fastest exp ive found in f2p so far, but there arent any safe spots and they dont drop anything, so it would be a better idea to wear a rune chain instead of dhide body
