They are more there to encourage users to use the OFFICAL tip.it chat which happens to be a lot nicer place (Yes, I use both)

 

 

 

You must remember, tip.it does NOT endorse clan chat AT ALL.

I would run a chat for this site but....I don't play as much as I used to...though, I could run it in my spare time, but not when I'm doing something that uses up the whole screen ( I can search stuff while regulating chat, but not while playing Half life 2 or anything like that).Meh I might someday.

I'd happily volunteer my own clan chat (which is currently empty) as a more maintained tip.it chat, although I doubt I'm well known enough (or at all) to kick it off successfully.

Yes, we need an active user to regulate it. Also, the new chat should not be like "tipitchat" or "the tipiter", they do make sense, but Jagex sees it as website advertising.
