crow
OK, I want 99str current stats: 80att 91str 80def 86hp 61pray I got a house with portals to all but lumby and mounted glory, so getting arround and recharging prayer goes kinda fast. I got a few options: (*Slayer--> not for now, currently got 73slay, and only get tasks which I need ranged or mage for or else are way to slow) *ankou: good cash and easy exp (got bones to peaches), but always crowded *bloodvelds: like ankou, only no clues *abberant spectres: drop a lot of herbs and seeds, got me some herblorelevels, but not so fast str exp and constant pray is best (ranarr-drops compensate it) *green drags level35 wildy (downside: I only wear 3 valuable things and auto-retal off, so I don't risk anything) these are good for my praylevel *yaks: never tried them, but hey seem to be rather fast exp, but don't got any good drops I'd like to hear people opinions about: *what might be best monsters to kill to get that 99str *how fast it will go (I don't know exactly how much I play, maybe 2hours a day, maybe more; it would be great to achieve 99str before X-mas) *what to do with the drops (like with spectres, I estimate to get enough herbs for 75 herblore; but need to kill 19k of them; with green drags, I most likely get 70+ pray;...) If someone thinks of other options, be welcome to share them with me.
VjuliusT
My best bet is a mix of bloodvelds/ankous and abbarant specters. If you play on the morning (not many players in) go to ankous/bloodvelds. If you play a little later on the day go for abbarant specters.
Assassin1357
dags are good if you have guthans. you can camp there for a long time. they drop quite a few herb seeds. i got like 3 ranarr in the 2 hours i was there

If you play on the morning (not many players in) go to ankous/bloodvelds. If you play a little later on the day go for abbarant specters. That's a good idea: mixing gets less boring indeed. dags are good if you have guthans. you can camp there for a long time. they drop quite a few herb seeds. i got like 3 ranarr in the 2 hours i was there I don't have guthans (am to cheap to buy it: I spend most of my cash on skills) Dags are indeed fast, but not that great with drops (at spectres, which are slower exp, I get like 10ranarr an hour at the least, and some snapseeds from time to time too) But thanks for the advice anyways: dags are an option I overlooked, and they involve a whole lot less clicking  I also forgot another option: dust devils with bones to peaches, but chances are small I might get a d chain  (maybe an option if I want some range-levels for jad)

crow
Dharok's at monkeys. That's an option I don't even consider: no drops at all, having to watch prayer and stuff (I sometimes lag) and the crompehensive melee guide in the AoW (one of the best guides there is as far as I know) says the exp ain't great. mockme14
Knowing your stats is good, buy knowing your budget, and what armour/weapons you have can help us find you the right place to train. Depending on the armour you have, and also what food your willing to buy, fire giants may be good for you. I am also going for 99 str, though i have chosen the slow route of using slayer. I would suggest getting a rune plate, dragon legs, rune def, dragon scimmy, glory, dragon boots, neitiznot helm, warrior ring, best RFD gloves you can, and either a fire cape, skill cape, obby cape or legends cape. With these and monkfish, fire giants should be good, along with the level 3 SoS Spiders. The exp from the spiders is as good as the flesh crawlers, but higher leveled and usually less crowded. Also, wherever you train, try to bring along super attack pots and regular strength pots, i find that 2 sup atks ends about the same as 3 regular str pots. Whatever you choose, GOOD LUCK. Going for a Dragonfire Shield-Almost there!

Roberthree
(one of the best guides there is as far as I know) says the exp ain't great. That guide is out-dated and Dharok'ing at monkeys gets over 90k xp per hour.

crow
Knowing your stats is good, buy knowing your budget, and what armour/weapons you have can help us find you the right place to train. I don't really put much cash in my outfits, like 500k max for the armour (weapon not included), so no barrow stuff for me (I spend it on skills) I don't like using much high food, only things I get from tt's from time to time If I can use bones to peaches, I use that got a fighter torso, rune legs, obby shield, neitz helm (did all quests), full black d hide and full proseleyete, all prayer books,.... mockme14
I don't exactly see your reasoning of spending it on skills, because strenth is a skill. You may want to consider getting a rune defender instead of the obby shield if the monster you fight has lower attack. Also, not using higher healing food greatly limits what you can train on, though bone to peaches could make up for that in some situations. One last thing, fight torso and rune legs don't supply you the biggest defensive bonus, and the only way i see to correct this would be a barrow plate or legs. Looking at the RSOF, Torag legs (i think they're the cheapest) cost 400k. I would suggest you get them and then train on a monster that would pay off the 80k or so for repairs within 15 hours. Sorry, it's kind of hard to have a small budget and yet figure out how to get you the best exp. No offense, but you may need to spend more than 500k if you want to take training to the next level. No offense, but you may need to spend more than 500k if you want to take training to the next level. I'm mainly looking for best exp without spending to much cash. And I noticed that most monsters I fight don't hit that much, sometimes I have to go fish a few monks or something, but mostly I don't need to. If it saves me like 50 hours of training by spending 1mil or more to equipment, I'll surely consider it, but I didn't yet noticed enough difference between mosts outfit. The Observer
Well, quite honestly I think you should train it with Slayer. It will make it less boring and you'll get Slayer Experience as well as Strength experience.
