November 12, 200718 yr I can figure out the entire quest, but what should I do for the final fight? Combat 91: 76 attack 74 strength 70 defence 75 hitpoints 54 prayer 67 ranged 69 magic Equipment: Rune/Torag plate, Dragon/Verac skirt, rune defender/kite, whip/DDS, glory, climbing/rune boots, Neitiznot helm. I'll obviously wear a ring of life. ;) I heard that he's really hard to melee, but I figured I'd get a second (or third, or fourth, etc.) opinion. Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D
November 12, 200718 yr I heard magic is the way too go but i can be wrong? Not this time. Magic does indeed seem the way to go: The Scarab's hide is hard to hit with melee, though it appears very weak to magical attacks. Personally, I also used magic to finish the quest. Not too sure which element would be most effective though. [260+ Quest Points] [All Skills 50+] [Lv 97 Combat]
November 12, 200718 yr To be honest, he was'nt that difficult when I faced the last bit. They might've updated it since I last did it, but all I took was an inventory full of cakes(not even chocolate btw  ) and a super set and he was'nt too hard. November 12, 200718 yr Author Guess I'll be maging him then. Should I prioritize melee defence, while still keeping a positive magic attack, or go all out for magic attack while losing my melee defence? Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D
