Hi there, this guide is for a fast way to get Mort Myre Fungi (used in super energy potions). This guide (for the moment) covers the following two methods, if you have any more please suggest them.

Requirements:

 

Nature Spirit

 

Access to Fairy rings (note quest doesnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have to be fully completed)

 

Access to Heroes Guild

 

A Silver Sickle (B)

 

Lots of gloryÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s (1 fully charged glory per 108 fungi)

 

Decent prayer. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m fine with 64 prayer but I suppose 50 or so would be enough (itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s doable with lower but then this method isnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t as good)

Start in Edgeville or Zanaris.

 

Run to the fairy ring and enter the code ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅBKRÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Btw i just remember another way to gather these: use home tele with a portal to canifis, enter,gather tele tab to home, bank, recharge at altar, tele to canifis again

Sorry to bother but I think there should be a map pic of Egde to the Fairy ring just east of Egde as you say in the text "Follow the red line to the fairy ring" and that's after u've glory-teled to Egde, so I assume that you mean that u should run to the Fairy ring just east of Egde then?! That pic is not in the guide and there is no red line in the pics you have now, so I guess u just missed to add that pic?!

 

 

 

And this method is not the fastest method (if you are going for speed/time that is). As Oake said, using Home Tele Tablets and having a Canafis Portal and an Altar in your House and using the spot just by the gate to the myre with 2 logs is much faster than this method. You can get the same amount of fungi every run (27) as with your method because you do not need a Fairy ring tele-staff and u can then wield your blessed silver sickle instead, but you instead need 1 space for Home Tele Tablets. With 60+ Prayer you will manage to get a full load of fungi like 99 % of the runs even with only 2 logs to get fungi from.

 

 

 

Another note that you might wanna mention is that it's far from every time you get 3 fungi from 1 "operate", which I sort of got the impression of that you would get. So it's like every 4-5 "operate you get 3 fungi, the other times you get 1 or 2.

Edit: Thanks Nitram, I forgot to upload that picture.

 

The tele tab way hwever requires you to spend time making tele tabs which can be quite boring and I personally prefer to use them for other things as I rarely make them and both methods give 27 per run. It just seems easier to me to recharge glories occaisionally, I'll work on putting that method in though. It turns out I'm leaving tomorrow; so I should get it done before I leave.

If your collectiing to make your own potions there's an even more efficient way.

 

 

 

Take 26 incomplete potions with you, add the fungi while your down there then make 4 dose pots and drop the empty vials and fill the empty inventory spaces with fungi before you leave.

 

 

 

My head hurts trying to work out how many fungi you get per trip but i think its 32.

 

 

 

If your willing to mess about a bit you can take 28 incomplete pots, drop a couple while you collect the fungi, pick them up again and make the complete pots, you only need to do this a couple of times before you've made room to carry them all again, 35 fungi per trip.

Thanks for all the advice, I would crop my pictures better but the only program I have that does the top and left corners messes up the picture colours.

 

Burntrice, thats a nice method and I'll work on that, though there is one major disadvantage to it (which I'll explain when I write it up).

 

I'm going to work on adding pros and cons to each of the methods.
