Bubsa
I read newspaper in a few months ago about woman was caught by police helicopter or something because she ate apple while driving. Yeah I remember reading that too and thinking it was a little extreme. But then again, what if it did lead to a serious accident? This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
NorthernHero
It's illegal to use cellphones while driving. Even with a handsfree because of the distraction. Driving safe is a serious issue which should not be taken lightly, since it the results in terrible accidents that ruins peoples entire lifes. Not where I live. To the subject, I think that people should have their own judegement when it's ok to eat and what it's ok to eat. People should have that much intelligense that they can choose those things. If youre driving on a calm drveway it's completetely ok to stuff something into your mouth with one hand. All people don't even use both hands to control the wheel so why not? That sounds horrible to me. Letting people have their own judgement on what's ok to eat? People are idiots. By that logic, a person would be ok to eat an ice cream behind the wheel. Sure, we'd all love it, but it's ridiculous. But if it's in his opinion it's ok to eat behind the wheel of a moving vehicle, according to you, he should eat his metaophorical cake. Reminds me of the British Law on intruders into the home. You are allowed to use "reasonable force". What the hell defines reasonable force? Ricky Hatton's reasonable force is probably my haymaker. Yeah, people are idiots. I almost forgot. It's a shame. Offtopic: Reasonable force would be that you don't kill or give any life time handcapping or brain damage. But again, how do you do that? You can poke a burglar with baseball bat a little but not too rough? Reality is hundreds of times more beautiful and more interesting than delusions. Fairy tales just tend to be easier to follow than the wonderful intricacies of life.

Alduron
Reasonable force tends to mean that you use equal force not execessive. For example if someone breaks into your home and just stands there and is not threatening then you cant go wailing on him with a baseball bat. If however you asked him to leave and he says he is going to kill you then you can use whatever force necessary to prevent that. As far as eating in a vehicle, being one that does it all the time I will start off with people should not engage in activities that distract while driving. Here are a few that I have witnessed. 1. a guy shaving 2. a lady putting on her makeup 3. someone eating something out of a bowl that looked like cereal 4. talking on the phone 5. cutting hair 6. getting dressed 7. engaging in intimate behavior 8. smoke the list could go on but i have to run... I also have handsfree through the radio phone system but i find that it distracts just as much as talking on the phone so to me there is no difference between the two. If you must eat while driving I suggest things that dont make a mess ie, burger, hot dog, fries, ice cream cones (very comon thing to do where i live)

On the way to skool, i started eating it. When i got to the hamburger, i was driving with my knees. Anyways.. my thoughts on the subject are this. I personaly think that you realy shouldn't eat behind the wheel, although i'd agree that if you do take a bite of a burger on a stop sign, or drink a drink of water or whatever, than you will be fine, but i'd never sit there munching on a burger while driving. Maybe like...a piece of candy handed to you, but not a whole meal. and yes, i also advise that if you do eat behind the wheel alot you shouldn't be driving. krunkthemonk
What a surprise he's a canadian :( In my car I don't really have to worry bout the radio since the volume control and tuner are set on the steering wheel next to the cruise control. The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard.
