Lionheart_0 Posted November 17, 2007 Share Posted November 17, 2007 Alright, so tomorrow is the day that my Dad (who works at walmart) can get 20% of any item in the store, and he said I could come along and get one. Now that being said, I know I am be-lining it for the electronic section, as no other section int he store interests me (I can get cloths cheaper then i would 20% off at another store). I am at a loss though as what to buy. I would say my limit is about 200$ CAD, but I might be willing to go higher depending on what my parents want to buy (I'm unsure if they want to buy a 360) I have a Nintendo Wii and DS right now. I would rather not get anything for my computer right now as I have plenty to work with (Orange box, bishock[if i ever get it working again], supream commander, and oblivion]. chessmastuh Posted November 17, 2007 Share Posted November 17, 2007 I'd go with a 360 if at all possible, but if not, pick up Guitar Hero 3 and Super Mario Galaxy for Wii, definitely. For the DS, Metroid Prime Hunters and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass are fantastic, and if Walmart's section offers it (I'm not sure if they do) you could drop a pre-order in on Assassin's Creed for the DS, if you'd like. I have a good mouse and keyboard already, a good speaker system with excellent base and a good headset. Hardware is not something I like to buy unless it is required (If anything i need a whole damn computer, but thats not in my budget :P) For DS I have Pokemon pearl, FF3, LOZ:PH, Mario 64 DS, Castlevania: POR. Wii I have wii play, mario party 8, game LOZ:TP. It's slightly possible to get the 360, but thats something I have to decide with my parents, and I have to figure out if they are getting it for Christmas too. As for computer, I have a 2.0 ghz processor, 1gb Ram, tons of HD space, and 8500Geforce card. Unless you can think of an amazing game that runs on that, i really dont think I'm gonna get anything for that. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Like, I do for the pro system package itself, but then I can't get any games, I can't get any more controllers. So ya, I am not bothering with that. Anyone else for DS or Wii games? They are updating the prices in the next couple weeks, things should be cheaper. The date that the sale was on was fixed and I couldn't wait. I ended up buying Metroied prime corruption for wii. It has been excellent so far. As for the Canadian dollar, the business have already been under stress to change the prices. Heck, most things have already have gone down by like 50 cents or so.
