This ban is well deserved, as you broke rule 11, website advertising, even if you had good intentions. Since JaGeX can't moderate all/any fan sites, they must keep people from mentioning them. So, your best bet is to apoligize. If you get unbanned, and someone needs help, look it up for them, but DONT mention the webiste you got it from. Otherwise, tell them to use the offical forums if they are members, or use the knowledge base(which was formed in order to keep players from using other sites, and possibly getting hacked/scammed/key logged etc.

Do not focus too much on apologizing because it would make them feel that they've done the right thing (apologizing would mean that you admit making a mistake), and never say that someone else was in control of your account. Saying that will get you busted for account sharing and make matters worse, no matter if it was a hacker or whoever.

 

 

 

Tell them that zybez is a large Runescape fansite and not a harmful site in any way, and that you were only trying to help a fellow player out and thus not advertising a website.

ok i already told them i made a mistake and would enver do it again and im on my last chance appeal. So am i screwed now? should i try telling them its a large fansite with no keyloggers viruses ect.?

heard that if you tell them you're going to kill yourself, you get unbanned... :-k

go to another ip, and choose someone had control over my account, then write I was over at a friends house etc. It worked for me, I had 21.4 black marks, and it got me down to somewhere around .6. (had 7 offences and they accepted all but 1). Although some of them was a hackers doing, and some mine. I was only perm muted at 21.4 black marks though. (not anymore =P~ )

Whats with all the jagex suckups migrating to tip it?, go back to rsof loser.

zybez is a large fansite and is not harmful in anyway shape or form. There are absoulutly no keyloggers viruses ect. I was trying to help someone out and make RS a better game for everyone. I have looked througth zyzbez multiple times and my virus scanner has not found any dangourus programs.

 

Is this a good appeal in your opinion? I also have about 100 characters left if there is anything I'm missing.

Dont say any of that, just say you think the ban was harsh considering that you only broke 1 rule once and that the website is a well known reputable site.

 

Apologise for doing it then ask for them to reverse the ban, as you have a previously clean record.

Since when has agreeing with the rules been a "jagex suck up" and how does telling someone they deserve a ban for breaking the rules make me a "loser?" I actually reported someone for breaking rules, pmed here on tip.it, and told him that someone else was on his account, they admited it wasn't him. He thanked me, and changed his recovires, and password. NO FLAMEWARS! I wasn't flaming him, you ARE flaming me. anymore of this will be reported to a moderator. However, for the recovery, apoligize, but of course they know zybez is a well known fan site. Hell, for all we know, there may be members of JaGeX staff on this forum. apoligize and say that considering it was your first offence, and you have helped thet runescape community alot, that it is a hard punishment.
