Hey, I'm fairly new to the forums so some help would be greatly appreciated :D

 

 

 

For some reason, when i try to change my avatar it just keeps reverting back to my old avatar. Even when i delete my old one and submit, then i go back with no image and try to submit the new avatar, it just turns straight back to my old one :wall:

 

 

 

Can anyone help?

Are you sure that the file which you uploaded isn't the old one? Strange otherwise...

Yeah, my old avatar is saved somewhere in my documents, whereas my new one is saved to my desktop, so it is easy to distinguish between the two by name alone.

 

 

 

Has anyone else experienced or overcome this?

It's probably 2 big? (100x100)

Already tried scaling down the size to 90 x 75 (It was 100 x 75), nothing changed.

 

 

 

It seems odd that it is not working, as everythin seems to be correct, and the message confirming the change in my profie appears, yet this same old avatar keeps appearing :evil:

Did you press the submit button? If so, Is it an Off-Site link, or a file saved on your computer?

Make sure your avatar isn't saved as a .bmp... those like to act up on us.

My new avatar is saved as .png so i dont think it is that.

 

 

 

Yes, i do press submit, as the message comes up saying profile updated and the file is saved onto my computer.

Try to save as a .jpg, if that doesn't work, how many KB's is it?

Ok, ill try saving it as .jpg now, but atm it is only 6.36kb anyway. ill post again if it doesn't work.
