You have to do something in your life that is honorable and not cowardly if you are to live in peace with yourself, and for the firefighter it is fire.

If your ISP gives out dynamic IPs then simply turning the router off for 10 minutes and back on again should get you a fresh one. If your ISP allocates static IPs then no, you cant change it. You will need to speak to your ISP on the phone if you need to change your static IP and you will need a good reason too.

How can you tell if you have a dynamic IP or a static IP?

I know something about nothing, which is far better than knowing nothing about something.

How can you tell if you have a dynamic IP or a static IP?

Look at the adress, then disconnect/restart the modem and after about 15 seconds reconnect. Refresh the page and see if the ip has changed or not.

Those are internal ips(probably starting with 192), you most likely have a dynamic external ip.

Come to my Clan chat (I'm there if I'm online) if you wish to borrow a Green H'ween mask, Blue H'ween Mask, Red H'ween Mask, or Santa for a reasonable price.
