1. People who have to sign their name at the bottom of every post. Yes I see your name above your avatar I DONT need you to notify me of who you are after every single post, and no it doesn't make you look anymore like a mod then you try and act like, and it serves no purpose that I am aware of.

 

 

 

Some people just get used to it on other forums, it becomes a habit and it doesn't hurt them or you so why care?

 

 

2."In before lock" Yes I'm aware of your AMAZING achievement of swiftly typing your pointless message on a pointless topic, but no need to share it with everyone else.

 

 

 

I don't like this either. People just want easy posts.

 

 

3. Members who train firemaking or other skill in f2p only to show off. They walk around with their untrimmed cooking capes and purple elegant firemaking and as soon as a low level asks them for money they act like that's not what they wanted to happen. The only reason they are there is to have some kid come up and say "can i hav summin plz", and to prove their better say "no noob go away". If you want them to stop begging GO TO A MEMBERS SERVER and stop showing off with your cheap gear that f2pers drool over.

 

 

 

Even with 99 cooking you wouldn't use that many hours if it was a single player game. Showing off is and always will be a big part of online games. I fyou can't show off why get the level? IMO

 

 

4. "str lvl" Anytime I'm training anywhere at some point in time there is always that one kid that as soon as he walks up to you all he says is "str lvl", like no other skill matters? Everyone is so obsessed with strength, how about starting off a conversation with a simple hello?

 

 

 

Absolutley true, strength is by far not the most important, like when I duel for fun and I hit constant 20s (not my max) They ask "str lv?" Attack did that not high strength. -.- And yes more convos should be started with hello.

 

 

5. Pures with names like r4ng3 g0d pwnz0rz, yes I know your level 32 pure owns every moving thing in range of its bow, but what ever happened to originality? Yes I know the amount of good names left are dwindling, but surely there are things better then ub3r p0ownz0rz13252.

 

 

 

Most of them are crowd followers and since 1337 names are cool amongst most pures the follow it. I agree be more original.

 

 

6. "lookin for gf" Are you honestly this desperate that your going on an online game shouting in a crowded street I need a girlfriend!!11. Think about if some moron did this in real life......yeah, so why must you do it on a game?

 

 

 

Thank god they made it agaisnt the rules. There are plenty of free dating sites to waste time on get off rs.

 

 

7. Teams in the fight pits, no I'm not saying teams shoudln't be aloud, I actually enjoy them. But when a 20 person team of 100+'s piles a helpless level 60-80 is it really necessary for: "pwned", "lolz u got owned", no you didn't own him your team did, it wasn't even a fight, so dont encourage your already over inflated ego.

 

 

 

Happens everywhere, its sad to see a group of people call one person they teamed a noob and owned etc. Same with RC pkers saying that. :-s

 

 

8. Morons in cwars, my rants on this could go on for days. The people who destroy their own teams cades, everytime I ask them why they are doing it " i need xp" you dont even get xp for them!! Their reply just a simple"noob". The people who insist on dedicating their cwars gaming experience to aiming the catapault at their own team, personally I think it should just be removed from them game but mehh.

 

 

 

Some people are just newbies but if they have been told they should stop. I agree if you told them your in the right.

I'm not saying showing off is a bad thing, what I said is I hate how they act so harshly when f2pers beg, they know there going to get annoyed when they go to f2p, all they have to do is take off their items or hop

The TIF also follows the RSOF Code of Conduct. If you were to post that thread in the RSOF, it would be locked because the Rant feature is about ingame features. People are not ingame features. Jagex cannot change people.

I go into F2P all the time with members stuff on, not to show off, but to help a friend or what not. I really don't think about taking off the stuff. I train there with friends all the time, why bother to take stuff off?
