Man do i hate college. I'm about to pull an all nighter. I have a presentation, 15 page paper, and a final all 2morrow. I got a nice bottle of "Bawls" next to me, which helped me drive from orlando 5 hours at 1 am.

15 pages on what?

It's for Organic Chemistry Lab. For our final project, they gave 2 Unknown compounds, and using tests, we have to conclude what they compounds are. We just have to write a Lab report for that, it's basically BS, might take 1-2 hrs.

College isn't about 15 page papers and all nighters it's about the other stuff you do. I love college.

It all depends on the college you go to. The 1 i personally go to is a "mini" campus, it's not really of a party university. The main university is where the most interesting stuff goes on, but that's 30 miles from my house. I personally loved high skool. And most colleges are about papers and pulling all nighters.....

Once you're out of college and working you'll wish you were back in college. I know I do, but maybe cuz I spent most of my college days drunk or stoned.

I'm pretty sure your right Adolpha. It's not the final I'm too worried about, just the paper and the presentation. I got the presentation done, now 2 write the paper. Dam ADD, i get distracted so easily :cry:

If you spell any more words wrong, I'm thinking you're going to hate college even more...

ok dark.........ive found 3 words i've mispelled in my posts. If you're talking about the fact that i like to shorten a lot of words using letters and numbers, it doenst mean i do it on my papers also. Also about not capitalizing "i".....i dont know, maybe we speak a different language or something, but plz tell me which i spelt wrong........

I'm a senior in high school right now, but I'm going to Wesleyan University next year, and I am *SO* ridiculously excited. It's going to rock. I visited there last weekend, and I actually partied. Like, a lot. That's cool to me, because I'm a total geek. And the people were SO AWESOME and I sat in on some classes and they were SO interesting (ex. linguistics seminar, behavioural neurobiology, Kafka and Jesus class... :D)

Anyway. I'm in year 13 at Sixth Form Colledge, just finished 7 hours of prep for my Indepentent assignment for History tomorrow. Now my hand hurts. I'm off to Belfast for university next year though, so that should be fun. Cheap Guiness on tap. mmmm.

Yeah... originally at least. Though by now, the school is 1/3 Jewish, and 90% atheist. 90% atheist is possible even with a third Jewish, I swear. :P :D

I don't know.. I like college. As people have said, it's about the other things you do there. Still, the homework I get isn't that bad; I don't find it annoying like I used to find school homeworks.

I'm 18, I'm not in college yet because I don't know what I want to do, but it can't seriously be THAT bad, at least not undergraduate. Graduate things like Med school would be horrible, but Undergrad, to me, sounds a lot like highschool work, only it's upper-level, lol. I never ever once had homework in highschool - not one day, reports/projects, yet, but not homework. So I'm hoping I don't get too much, I'm a procrastinator unless I know I NEED to get something done, I'll wait til the last minute. There were many nights in highschool where I had a 3 page report and I'd do it in 4 hours before bed the night before. :P I once made a full-scale model of the Great Pyramids AND the Hoover Dam (got A's on both, teacher kept them as examples for people in later years, put them on display, and said they were the best out of all the classes, I officially own. :P) in about 5 hours the night before they were due. I also wrote a paper on them both during a 50 minute study hall because my partner "forgot" about it. Ugh. :P

I got to FIU, Florida Internation University. I go to the small campus of it, which isn't as fun as the huge one, but that's to far for me to drive. It's not the point that undergraduate is hard, but i'm lazy and huge procrastinator, a bad combination. I love the hours in college, but i miss the friends in high school.

In university you really do have to take responsibility for your own learning. But then you have the opportunity to really become someone unique, with your own unique research interests and such. Rather than just another highschool graduate.
