Just wondering, Would you say 94 Mage is worth it, I think I would get into PKing if I got it.

if you have the cash, then it is worth it

Its going to cost me 9m to high alch yew longs for 94 mage from 83... I deceided that if I can have enough money left over to still have above 20m I decided it was worth it to get. So if you set a bare minimum and spending the 12m WONT leave you broke, then by all means get it.

 

 

 

Also, if you want to take a little more time to get it you can always mine or buy pure essence. Only buy HALF of what you would need in nats for 99, then just nat run double natures.

 

 

 

1 p ess = 80-90 ea

 

1 p ess = 2 nats

 

2 nats = 280ea = 560

 

560-80= 480

 

560-90= 470

 

 

 

So by doing this you can save 470-480 per 2 alchs... Which can add up and ultimately make you a profit :

In another note, I figured out a way to get 94 mage with turning at least a 1m+ profit.

 

 

 

Just by buying your own green d'hides, making them into bodies, mining your own p-ess, running double nats, then alching. It will also get me 99 crafting in the process which is also a very nice. I am guessing to do all this though it would take at least 4-5 months to get your goal of 94 mage with a side bonus of 99 crafting

WRONG! It doesn't take that much. If you are fairly rich(15m+), alch green bodies instead. You only lose 80 gp each, instead of 132 with yew longs. It will cost around 6m doing that or something. As to the question, yes, go for it, much fun barraging, better if you pk :thumbsup: .

In my opinion it is worth it. Investing in magic is a bonus because there is a definite chance of new spells being added, not to mention the many current spells spread out through 3 spell-books. It also raises your mage def bonus (I think), and it might be worth getting to 99 at a later time. :
