i am in the midst of setting up an online radio station and i've designed this website - just looking for some crits really, after all a good looking site is gonna mean more success for us so its better to find out what you like and what you dont etc first!

 

 

 

A little bit too small, especially for your screen. Spread it out more, too much 'white space', which can be very unattrative for people visiting sites.

 

 

 

Nothing else to really say. :P

The way you designed it would it be possible to have it expand to a percentage of the screen size, what you have is just to small.

 

 

 

EDIT: You might want to consider a name change you'll have no chance competing with Out There radio in Google for those keywords, plus it almost looks like your copying there name intentionally.

Its hard to tell from that small of an image, but as has been said, something that is percentage based would be better than fixed at that size.

Small size is very common in Flash Based Sites.

 

If you will use flash in this site its good.

 

If you wont, make it bigger.

I think it looks good, it fits the theme of radio. Very nice.

just the size is an issue imo, i really like the "circuit board" type backround

cheers so far, glad you're all positive as i was fully expecting a slating, hahah - can't decide if it looks cheap or not! :/

 

I'll try and work on the size but the major issue is what's gonna fill room up - I don't want huge open spaces in the content sections you see!

Flash shouldn't be used unless you need it, flash is up there with the top few things that should never be done in web design second only to launch pages for flash sites.
